Pet lovers, my 11 year old pug started showing first symptoms 2 weeks ago and was diagnosed last week with metatstic lung cancer. Desperate to find veterinary oncologists. Most have no appointments until mid-September. Finally got appointment for Thursday. He's in very rough shape. I'm praying often for healing. Anybody who has been through this kind of thing knows how devastating it is. Any help is appreciated.

My 4 year old pug Fred died last year from encephalitis, I have no words of support except don’t let him suffer. It sucks I know.

Prayers for you and your pet. We’ve been through this many times, and it never gets easier. Devastating.
Dog oncology is crazy. Works far better than you’d imagine. And for some reason, chemo doesn’t knock them down the way it does people. I bet you’ll see positive results quickly. And it’s wayyyy less expensive than if it were for people.
Hang in there. Take care of your friend.
The bond between us and our pets is very strong. I think it is a godly thing, as our Creator made these animals to be our companions.

Have you tried looking within 200 miles of your home?
I’m not sure how far you are willing to drive, but some Vets will drop a lot for an issue like yours.
