Not only did more than a thousand fans of Bill Clinton show up at the Politics & Prose bookstore Tuesday to get their signed copies of My Life, but they were evidently a committed lot as well. A few members of the D.C. Chapter hit the road yesterday to visit the City of Brotherly Love and protest disgraced former president Bill Clinton at a book signing appearance at the National Constitution Center.tgslTakoma, daughterofTgsl, Doctor Raoul and myself met outside the center around 11: 45 a.m. and took up a spot near the main entrance. Xlinton's book tour is coming to the heart of Midtown Manhattan on 6/22. Our only elected and impeached ex-President will be at the 48th St./Fifth Ave. Barnes & Noble bookstore at 12:30pm. Just bought a book there, and saw the posters.

LOS ANGELES, June 15 (UPI) -- Former President Bill Clinton, whose memoir, "My Life," is coming to U.S. bookstores on June 22, is about to embark on a promotional tour likely to stoke public perception that he is part politician, part rock star. Clinton's book tour began on June 3 when he was the keynote speaker at BookExpo America, the annual gathering of the American Booksellers Association and the publishing industry.
