Former NFL player dies in shootout RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- Michael Brim, a former Virginia Union University standout cornerback who spent eight seasons in the NFL, died Tuesday in a shootout with another man. He was 39.Richmond police said Thursday that Brim had been involved in a dispute with Gary Miles, 42, over a woman.
