BOSTON — A monument recognizing the first all-volunteer black regiment of the Union Army during the Civil War was defaced during Sunday's protests. Multiple demonstrations had gathered in Boston peacefully throughout the day, lending their voices to the nationwide anger sparked by the death of George Floyd, a black man who died on Memorial Day after being pinned to the ground by the knee of a white Minneapolis police officer. Some city residents worried about “watering down” what it means to be an American have hit the phones to object to a proposal before the City Council today to allow noncitizens the right to vote in municipal elections, Councilor Michael Flaherty told the Herald. “I got a lot of calls today from folks who are concerned we are watering down what it means to be a citizen of the United States and have the privilege to vote,” Flaherty said.

WAAF 107.3FM is a popular rock station here in Boston. This past Friday in Lowell, Massachusetts, WAAF had their "Indoor Beach Party". The Indoor Beach Party is a multi-band concert which included the group Mudvayne. The lead singer of the band compared George Bush to Saddam Hussein and Bin Laden and said "F*** George W. Bush" during their set. So, Greg Hill, the morning show guy at WAAF, decided that he wasn't gonna play music by these Anti-American fools.
