Modern-day grave robbers in Texas have seized unclaimed bodies belonging to veterans and sold their limbs for profit without the consent or knowledge from their grieving family members. Victor Carl Honey, 58, a dedicated Army veteran, who struggled with mental illness, died in September 2022 of heart failure. DELRAY BEACH, Fla. — Officials in Florida have released an artist rendering of a woman whose remains were found in multiple suitcases int he water in Delray Beach. Delray Beach police responded last Friday to a report of a suspicious item. A suitcase was found along the Intracoastal Waterway near the 1000 block of Palm Trail. Soon after, officers discovered two other suitcases also containing human remains alongside the Intracoastal Waterway by SE 7th Avenue and Casuarina Road.

Three “fairly mummified” bodies were discovered in a remote Rocky Mountains campsite in Colorado this week — and may have been there since last year, authorities said. One of the bodies was located by a hiker on Sunday, while two others were found by authorities on Monday, Gunnison County Sheriff Adam Murdie said. Two of the bodies were found inside a small, zipped-up tent while the other was outside in the camp. The bodies were found in a wooded, remote area, away from areas typically frequented by hikers. “This is not a typical occurrence anywhere, by any means,” Murdie said.
