‘Israeli forces have uncovered network of tunnels in Jabalia region, northern Gaza Strip, and retrieved bodies of 5 Israeli hostages,’ says Israeli army spokesman
The Israeli army announced Sunday evening that it retrieved the bodies of five Israeli hostages from a tunnel in the Gaza Strip.
The announcement came a day after the Al-Qassam Brigades said that it lost contact with a group responsible for five Israeli hostages and that the hostages might have been killed in Israeli strikes.
“Israeli forces have uncovered a network of tunnels in the Jabalia region, northern Gaza Strip, and retrieved the bodies of five Israeli hostages who were killed there,” army spokesperson Daniel Hagari said in a statement.
Three of these five hostages were featured in a video released by the Al-Qassam Brigades a few days ago.
In the video, the hostages urged the Israeli government not to leave them in captivity.
Hagari said: “The military intends to expand its operations in the city of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, aiming to gain control over it.”
He added that this “may take a considerable amount of time."
Describing the ground offensive in the Gaza Strip as “complex,” the Israeli army spokesman said: “It is impossible to dismantle Hamas without casualties on our side.”
Israel has pounded the Gaza Strip since a cross-border attack by Hamas on Oct. 7, killing at least 20,424 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 54,036 others, according to health authorities in the enclave.
Around 1,200 Israelis are believed to have been killed in the Hamas attack.
The Israeli onslaught has left Gaza in ruins with half of the coastal territory's housing stock damaged or destroyed, and nearly 2 million people displaced within the densely-populated enclave amid shortages of food and clean water.

Collateral damage is ham ass’s fault for two reasons:
1) ham ass broke the October 6th Cease Fire initiating hostilities, and
2) ham ass uses women and children as human shields by fighting from behind them from hospitals, schools, etc. Failure to segregate their military activities from the civilian population is ham ass’s War Crime.
Hamas attacks during the Sabbath when no one among observant Jews can warn others who don’t answer phones. Then rape, dismember, burn , decapitate and kill Israelis and abduct hundreds more and use them as human shields in Gaza and elsewhere. The first day revised death total of Israelis is 1,200. Thousands injured including serious ones. Approximately 250 hostages taken, some of whom are now known to be dead.
Then the UN, the Pope, college students in marches and the media say “oh, dear, Israelis shouldn’t be so warlike and harsh as to continue a bloody war. Have a ceasefire and make concessions to the Hamas and PLO terrorists. Give peace a chance.”
Yair Pinto of TBN Israel has been putting out some really good reports about the situation in Gaza. He’s a messianic Jew and former Israeli soldier so he has a interesting perspective.

With the Islamic concepts of Taqiyya (lying and deception are permitted) and Kitman (deceit by omission) is there a single thing said by either Hamas or Gaza officials that can be believed?
Read the source of this. Notice the downgrading of Israeli deaths and upgrading of unknown Palestinian/Hamas claimed deaths. Most Moslem journalists in the Middle East/South Asia simply cannot be trusted to write accurately or honesty, for several reasons.
Remember the Islamic concept of “Taqqiya” which allows Moslems to lie to “kaffirs” (non-Moslems) if it advances the cause of Islamic expansion and dominance, anywhere in the world.
Upgrading? The Palis & UN were claiming well over 30k fatalities, weeks ago.
Given the number of Hamas (as of 10/7/2023), the very high likelihood Israel HAS killed at least half of them (actually as of some time ago), and that in this environment (including Hamas’ human shielding tactics) a kill ratio of 1:1 (”civilians” vs. Hamas members) would be virtually impossibly low, 30+k Gazan fatalities is not an unreasonable number. In fact, it is an unwitting statement that Israel has done a remarkable job overall in limiting “civilian” casualties.
The farce part is “mostly women and children.”
