Bill Cosby he believes disgraced singer R Kelly was 'railroaded' during his sex trafficking trial, according to his rep. The comedian blamed racism for Kelly's conviction on several counts on Monday, and said any appeal the singer made would likely be successful. In an interview with the New York Post, Cosby's spokesman Andrew Wyatt said the 84-year-old felt Kelly 'got railroaded' and 'wasn't going to catch a break' in his month-long trial. 'The deck was stacked against Robert,' Wyatt told the paper, using Kelly's first name. The Cosby rep also criticised lawyer Gloria Allred who represented victims in both Kelly...

A Black Lives Matter leader is threatening an “uprising” over mandatory vaccinations and vaccine passports in New York. New York City’s vaccine mandate began on Sept. 13. It requires proof of vaccination entry to certain public spaces, including gyms, restaurants, and bars, unless a person has an approved medical exemption. New York officials call the program the “Key to NYC Pass.” Hawk Newsome, the co-founder and chairman of Black Lives Matter of Greater New York (BLMGNY), argues the mandates are fundamentally racist, given the low rate of vaccination in the black community. Some 85.6 percent of black people in the...

After widespread criticism that drew national attention, Central York School District on Monday night reversed its decision to “ban” a list of diverse books and resources. At the same time, board members say it was all a misunderstanding. The list of books, articles, websites and resources was put together last year and involves dozens of popular books including “The Hate U Give” and “I Am Malala,” according to the York Daily Record. Before Monday’s school board meeting, the newspaper estimated at least 200 parents rallying, saying the ban needed to be overturned. The York Dispatch reported that last November, the...

To look at me you’d never know it, but my great-great-great-great [“4G”] grandmother was from Nigeria, according to my saliva, all that was needed for the laboratory to make that determination. It is difficult to know which of these two data points would have surprised my parents more -- how little we know of our family’s past or how much modern science can tell us. Our family history is pretty murky on both sides, due to early deaths, divorce, transiency, alcoholism, and other assorted human conditions. There’s no shame in that, I suppose. No doubt, many American families have a...

The affidavit says as the group Tabb was in walked by the other group, Tabb said, “What y’all wanna do? Y’all wanna fight?” A minor from the other group replied with, “it’s whatever,” and then the affidavit says that’s when Tabb pulled out his gun and started shooting. The same juvenile said Tabb shot him in the leg a few days before in Killeen, the affidavit said. A police report from Killeen police supported the juvenile’s claim that Tabb was the primary suspect in that shooting, as well. Another minor police interviewed said the group immediately starting running away and...

NEW YORK (AP) — The Associated Press said Tuesday it will no longer run the names of people charged with minor crimes, out of concern that such stories can have a long, damaging afterlife on the internet that can make it hard for individuals to move on with their lives.

Black Lives Matter (BLM) co-founder Patrisse Cullors will deliver the commencement speech at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Luskin School of Public Affairs virtual graduation ceremony on Friday, the school announced. The UCLA commencement announcement published June 1 put Cullors’ name in the release’s title above other commencement speakers such as Democratic California Rep. Ted Lieu. Cullors has described herself as a “trained Marxist,” despite making enough money to amass millions in real estate. The university made no mention of activities such as funneling BLM funds towards the father of her only child that ultimately seem to have...

Yesterday, we reported that Tim Tebow had signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a tight end, marking his comeback with the NFL after years away from football. While many fans are excited about this, Tebow’s return did not sit well with ESPN host Stephen A. Smith, who slammed it as an example of “white privilege.”

There is a quote attributed to the French philosopher Voltaire, who is credited with observing that the ability or inability to offer critiques of certain people demonstrates who really pulls the strings. A lot of noise is currently made of white privilege, white supremacy, and whiteness. At the same time, Black History Month contradictorily shares a narrative of both black power and black oppression. Perhaps the idea of black power represents their wielding of control over a muzzled white population by pretending to be victimized.Pop culture is a bastion of debauchery and shamelessness, but it also encapsulates everything wrong with...

The Southern Poverty Law Center, a reportedly notorious progressive donation mill, has issued a detailed explanation as to why the group is easing up on anti-LGBT, misogynistic, and anti-Semitic black separatist groups on its detailed hate map. Despite all the hate that black separatists openly preach. Equity Through Accuracy: Changes to Our Hate Map was published by the SPLC's Intelligence Project, which publishes the Intelligence Report magazine (I reject this opportunity to make the predictable quip at this time). The SPLC, a liberal activist group that came under criticism two years ago in a New Yorker magazine report that suggested...

Kyrie Irving didn’t fly with the Nets for Friday’s game at Memphis, and his status (along with that of Kevin Durant) is still up in the air for Sunday’s home tilt against the Thunder. A source familiar with the situation told The Post that Irving is fine physically, but was upset by the attack on the U.S. Capitol in Washington by supporters of President Donald Trump. The All-Star isn’t AWOL, and the team has been aware of why he’s not playing. Irving, in essence, took personal days, according to a source.
