Timothy Simpkins, 18, was apprehended by police following a school shooting in Arlington, Texas on Wednesday. He has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The suspect has since been released on a $75,000 bond.
Authorities on Thursday said Simpkins would report to home confinement, as well as follow several more conditions to his release. Simpkins claimed self defense after family members said he brought a handgun to Timberview High School to protect himself. In addition, they maintain he was often a target of bullying and was robbed twice on campus.

He was bullied unmercifully for 2 years by the kid he shot. The bully also beat him up just minutes before the shooting
The bully learned a lesson today.
Someone was trying to steal his gold by punching his teeth out.

If the ‘bullying’ was that bad, change schools then.
Either way, he never learned better coping skills than to shoot people who have never harmed him.
I certainly have zero sympathy for him.

Public schools do suck. Bullies are protected buy the everyone gets expelled/suspended edicts of the lesbian intellectuals. No fighting back so the population learns to submit.
I am hearing that the gun he had was not obtained legally either. But hey he’s black so let him go.
Not in defense of this guy at all. But on topic, Jodi Picoult wrote a book years back called, “Nineteen Minutes”. It was a fictional account of a school shooting and the dynamics of a kid being bullied, embarrassed and an outcast for years, culminating is a school shooting. It was enlightening in that it gave the emotional perspective of the shooter.

His classmates said the kid he shot was a bully who tormented other students also.
Did not want the teacher shot and the girl hurt but the bully got his karma.
.....was wondering the same thing.....a kid carrying anything that shoots a .45 ACP round is no doubt one dangerous dude....would be curious to know what kind of handgun he used....I doubt it was a 1911A1....
