NEW JERSEY — Four remained in a hospital on Saturday after two dozen people who arrived in New Jersey this week were tested for the coronavirus, officials say. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention had ordered the four individuals to be evaluated at a New Jersey hospital to make sure that they do not have the coronavirus, the state Department of Health told Patch on Saturday. The other 23 passengers from a cruise ship that arrived on Friday were cleared. Test results are pending at the CDC in Atlanta, the DOH said.

The cruise line operator Royal Caribbean has said it will refuse any passengers with Chinese, Hong Kong or Macao passports, regardless of when they were last in China. A Royal Caribbean cruise ship scheduled to dock in Bayonne, New Jersey, early Friday has at least a dozen Chinese nationals on board in isolation who will be tested for coronavirus, a source familiar with the ship said.
