Protesters in Egypt are begging U.S. President Barack Obama to intervene and save them from a "bloodbath," according to CNN reporter Ben Wedeman who has been live Tweeting from Tahrir Square in Cairo today.Pro-Mubarak forces have descended on Tahrir square today ared with heavy sticks and knives, according to reports, and provoked fierce fighting between the two sides.
