The U.S. Capitol Police union leader is calling out the department for providing special financial and other benefits to Capt. Michael Byrd, the officer who fatally shot Jan. 6 protestor Ashli Babbitt, that were not given to fellow officers. “What a slap in the face to the rank and file officers of the USCP, especially all who were on duty on J6,” U.S. Capitol Police union Chairman Gus Papathanasiou said in a statement Thursday to...

One wonders what thoughts passed through the fevered mind of Officer Lila Morris as she struck the seemingly lifeless Rosanne Boyland over the head with a branch, then struck her again, and then struck her a third time so hard that the branch snapped in half. If Morris thought Boyland a hateful white supremacist who deserved her fate, one could, if not forgive her, at least understand how she came to think that way. For the last two years, Morris had heard little else about these MAGA minions and the monster who led them. President-elect Joe Biden had set the...

Trump fired back in a post on Truth Social, claiming...

It’s thrilling to know that with the new Congress, it’s looking like there will finally be an open and honest investigation into the events of January 6, 2021.. November 3, 2020 and January 6, 2021 Are Inextricably Tied. However, what’s critical about the forthcoming deep-dive into the unjust, immoral, and unconstitutional jailing of hundreds of January 6 “trespassers” at the Capitol, is a look into how that event ties explicitly into what transpired in the presidential election of 2020. Ideally, we must have an investigation that does not divorce the two events from each other. As long as our representatives...
