I haven't heard anything about it in awhile, but I thought that I heard that after a debate between Keyes and Obama, Keyes asked Obama if he had a birth certificate. Obama replied that it wouldn't be an issue, because he doesn't need to be a natural born citizen to be a senator. The audio was removed from the internet also. Does anyone remember this?

"Dear Birthers: Stop! Sincerely, Serious Conservatives." I've held fire for the last several months as I've watched the so-called "Birther" movement gain steam. At first it was amusing, like playing a drinking game — you know, like taking a shot every time Chris Matthews explains why he insists on pronouncing the former Vice President's name "CHEE-knee." It's not amusing anymore.... But that "Birther" thing ... Seriously. Is this anything but a gift to the Democrats? ... National Review Founder William F. Buckley, Jr., Arizona Sen. Barry Goldwater, conservative historian and philosopher Russell Kirk, and American Enterprise Institute President William Baroody...

In 2005, when I was working as a speechwriter in the South African parliament, a far-left faction of the ruling African National Congress spun a yarn that accused the leader of the opposition, the intelligence minister, and the Mossad of colluding to frame Jacob Zuma, the faction's chosen presidential candidate. Intelligence agents loyal to Zuma bugged the opposition's parliamentary offices and produced a bogus document that they claimed was a transcript of Internet chats between Zuma's supposed opponents. It was all nonsense, but the conspiracy theory galvanized Zuma's supporters, who soon pushed him to the top of the ruling party...

A man who runs a silver business and offers stock investment advice has announced he's offering a reward of $100,000 for proof meeting his satisfaction that Barack Obama is a "natural born" citizen of the United States, and therefore eligible to be president. On his website, Jason Hommel announced the offer. "I, Jason Hommel, promise that I will give $100,000 to the first person who can prove to my satisfaction that Barack Obama, acting as president of the United States, is a 'natural born' citizen of the USA, which is a qualification to hold the office as indicated in the...

The online image posted by the Obama campaign of a "Certification of Live Birth" continues to be used as a source of documentation for the president's birth place, even though previous reports have revealed there is little proof that can be derived from the document. A new example came just as the reports were being released over the statement by Hawaii State Health Director Chiyome Fukino that she had reviewed the "records" and was confirming that "Barrack Hussein Obama" was born in Hawaii. The issue is whether Obama's birthplace and time qualify him to be a "natural born" citizen, as...

Reporting from Washington -- It is the Internet rumor that has been discredited but will not die: President Obama is not a naturally born U.S. citizen and therefore constitutionally is not qualified to serve. This week, months after the allegations first cropped up on the Web and talk radio, the White House and Hawaii officials addressed the rumor -- with the state's health director saying that she had reviewed the records in question and found that they verified Obama was born in Hawaii. At the same time, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said, there probably was nothing that would quiet...

Is the State of Hawaii trying to help "birthers" by giving clues to Obama "late" birth certificate? What is a "late" registration birth certificate? If you were born in the state of Hawaii but your birth was never registered there you can apply for a late registered birth certificate. The Hawaii Department of Health says this: Who is Eligible to Apply for Late Registration? As provided by law (HRS §§338-15, 338-29.5), the following persons may apply for late registration: * Any person born in Hawaii who is one year old or older and whose birth has not been previously registered...

Clearing the Smoke on Obama’s Eligibility: An Intelligence Investigator’s June 10 Report Editors Note: In December ‘08 a retired CIA officer commissioned an investigator to look into the Barack Obama birth certificate and eligibility issue. On July 21, 2009 westernjournalism.com obtained a copy of the investigator’s report. Here is an unedited version of the report. More cracks have appeared in the official story of Barack Obama's family life, with the revelation in school documentation from the University of Washington that Ann Dunham most likely left her husband, Barack Sr., within weeks of the baby's birth. The official story as presented in his autobiography, "Dreams from My Father," and in various accounts in newspapers and websites supporting Obama conflicts with the results of a careful analysis of the documentary evidence available. For example, the official story claims that Dunham relocated to Seattle late in 1962, but documentary evidence establishes that Ann Dunham left Hawaii when she...

Images of two 1961 Hawaii birth certificates similar to the one President Obama purportedly has on file have now been unveiled. The Honolulu Advertiser published photostats of the original long-form birth certificates of twin daughters born to Eleanor Nordyke at Kapi'olani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital Aug. 5, 1961, one day after Obama was supposedly born at the same facility. The Nordykes' certificates include information missing from the short-form document for Obama published online, including the name of the hospital, the name of the attending physician, name and address of the parents, the race of the parents and the race of...

CNN anchor Lou Dobbs has come under fire for having the audacity to question on air why President Barack Obama hasn't released his long-form birth certificate. Now members of the Daily Kos website, which bills itself as "the largest progressive community blog in the United States," have turned up the heat even more by listing CNN executives' email addresses in a campaign to get Dobbs fired from the network. "Lou Dobbs is an idiot and he should be booted off CNN for his obsession with President Obama's birth certificate," writes Daily Kos diarist kerouacforobama. "We need to get these far-right...

Hawaii Health Department’s Fukino Now Constitutional Lawyer? Well kiddies we really shook them up yesterday with our post revealing the US Supreme Court’s most on point decision regarding the definition of “natural-born citizen” in the case of Minor v. Happersett which was decided six years after the 14th Amendment was adopted. They were quick to respond weren’t they. After building up the main stream media pressure for the last week for what was sure to be a long form BC in the face, they were confronted with a severe blow to the mantra that the 14th Amendment defines “natural born citizen”. ...

Responding to the growing controversy over the White House's refusal to release President Obama's original long-form birth certificate, Hawaii's director of health issued a statement yesterday about the document in apparent contravention of Hawaiian law. Dr. Chiyome Fukino declared she has seen the "original birth records" that verify Obama was born in Hawaii and is a "natural-born American citizen," the Honolulu Advertiser reported. But in two separate telephone interviews with WND, Janice Okubo, the Health Department's public information officer, told WND that Hawaii law prohibited her from commenting on the birth records of any specific person. Okubo cited Hawaii Revised...

According to an AP story, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Health Director with the Hawaii State Department of Health, has issued a new statement seeking to "stem a recent surge in the number of inquiries about Obama's birthplace." "I…have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen….I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issue in October 2008, over eight months ago." AP asserts that "Fukino issued a similar press release Oct. 31." However, in his statement in October Fukino said "I…have personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of Health has Sen. Obama's original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures." The original statement said nothing about the content of the birth record. The new statement therefore goes significantly farther than the original statement in October, though both the AP story and Fukino himself give the deceptive impression that it does not. Given this evident obfuscation, why should I or anyone else simply take Fukino's words at face value?

Well, surely this will settle finally once and for all that Barack Hussein Obama was really, actually and factually born in the United States and, therefore, is fully qualified according to the U.S. Constitution to be the president that he has been since he took the oath of office on Jan. 20 and a second time shortly after, just to make sure. Not! In yet another quite possibly futile attempt to silence the zombie birther controversy that won't die,

(please the time to look at the document. There are many, many sources and other comments attached) "There are serious concerns about Mr. Obama’s identity and financial dealings. I have obtained a list of some 100 addresses under the name of Barack Obama (and similar spellings). These addresses are attached to different social security numbers. As you know the first three digits in a social security number signify the state. Those were issued all over the country. One of his social security numbers, that was used while he was a law student at Harvard and attached to his address in...

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A vocal group of conspiracy theorists known as "birthers" are riling the White House with their persistent claim that Barack Obama is not an American citizen and therefore ineligible to be president. The claim that the United States' first African-American president was born in Kenya, not Hawaii, first emerged during his presidential campaign, but it has garnered more media attention in the summer "silly season," a traditionally slow news period when many Americans are on vacation. White House spokesman Robert Gibbs looked exasperated at his briefing on Monday when a reporter asked him, "Is there anything you...

The massive effort to force Barack Hussein Obama to become “transparent” about his birth place and circumstance, his college years and his passport records is gathering steam. Despite a million dollars in legal fees aimed at keeping Obama’s entire life history Top Secret, a relentless pursuit of the mystery messiah not only persists,—its going viral on the web and main stream in the press… CNN news anchor Lou Dobbs put his career on the line by even mentioning the topic of Obama’s apparent constitutional ineligibility for the office of Commander-in-Chief. After almost two years of reports and law suits regarding...

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs today admitted that the questions about Barack Obama's eligibility to be president simply won't go away, even though he contends there are 10,000 things "more important" for Americans to worry about. Gibbs appeared exasperated by the issue, even when it was raised by left-leaning pundit Bill Press, who phrased his interest this way: "Robert, I hate to bring this up but somebody has to … Is there anything you can say that will make the birthers go away?" "No," said Gibbs. "I mean, the God's honest truth is no. I mean, Bill, let's understand...
