A man who runs a silver business and offers stock investment advice has announced he's offering a reward of $100,000 for proof meeting his satisfaction that Barack Obama is a "natural born" citizen of the United States, and therefore eligible to be president.
On his website, Jason Hommel announced the offer.
"I, Jason Hommel, promise that I will give $100,000 to the first person who can prove to my satisfaction that Barack Obama, acting as president of the United States, is a 'natural born' citizen of the USA, which is a qualification to hold the office as indicated in the U.S. Constitution," he wrote.
"Please prove that Obama is a 'natural born' US citizen, and put to rest the claims in lawsuits, as wnd.com reports, 'that include contentions Obama was born in Kenya, wasn't a 'natural born' citizen because of his father's Kenyan citizenship, was a dual citizen and that his mother wasn't old enough to transmit citizenship at birth. In addition, his citizenship is clouded by his move as a child to Indonesia and apparent adoption by an Indonesian citizen who married his mother.'"
Hommel told WND that the offer has produced for him a flood of e-mails, but no proof.

CBS Disregarded Experts, Challenged Laura Bush:
ABCs Brian Ross reported on the September 14 World News Tonight that two experts hired by CBS News say the network ignored concerns they raised prior to the broadcast about the disputed National Guard records. But over on CBS, reporter John Roberts wondered why President Bush wasnt taking those memos seriously: The President has yet to weigh in on new documents about his National Guard record made public last week by 60 Minutes. Roberts also chastised First Lady Laura Bush for doubting CBSs memos were authentic: Laura Bush offered no evidence to back up her claim, and CBS News continues to stand by its reporting.
On September 8, 2004, Dan Rather cited exclusive information, including documents to justify major CBS Evening News and 60 Minutes stories alleging that George W. Bush shirked his duties when he was in the Texas Air National Guard in the 1960s and 1970s.
Within a few hours of those documents being posted on CBS Newss Web site, however, typography experts voiced skepticism that the documents had actually originated with their alleged author and Bushs former commanding officer, the late Lt. Colonel Jerry Killian.
As the evidence mounted, Rather stubbornly clung to the idea that his story was bulletproof, and he derided critics as partisans and Internet rumormongers. When he apologized on September 20, Rather would not concede that the documents were forgeries, only that he and CBS could no longer vouch for their authenticity.
Why not just offer money for proof that Obama was born in Kenya?
It is because, my dear Viral Messenger, that this money is presented as being practically given away... provided Obama’s story is all correct.
If ‘birthers’ were so nuts, why not illustrate what is already said and take the $100,000.
This is going to be very effective for the birthers. Poor Viral Messengers, they are going to work even harder on Free Republic now. LOL.
IF that is the case, why not just buy the Obama Kenyan BC that was for sale on eBay a few weeks ago?
As I detailed here http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2300687/posts , anyone sharing a COMMON ANCESTOR (family tree) with Obama can get his birth certificate. That person by operation of law has a tangible and direct interest in it. All that is needed is for someone out there that shares a common ancestor with Obama to step forward and get the birth certificate.
hmm how can I be the first person to transmit the possible upcoming US Supreme Court decision to him?
Obama want to make a quick 10k?
So, Joseph Farah, the editor and chief executive officer of WND, has put up a reward of $10,000 to anyone who can provide persuasive evidence of involvement or presence at that birth whether it took place in Hawaii or elsewhere. To collect the reward, the subject must:
1. Agree to an interview with WND journalists;
2. Provide persuasive evidence, such as pictures, documents or verifiable details;
3. Agree to a polygraph test;
another “viral messenger”???? LOL
