Hunter Biden is expected to plead not guilty Tuesday to federal firearms charges in a Delaware-based federal court during an arraignment that will mark the first time a sitting president's child has appeared to fight criminal charges in court. President Joe Biden's son was indicted by special counsel David Weiss last month for allegedly lying on a federal gun form and illegally owning a firearm while using illegal drugs. Magistrate Judge Christopher Burke will preside over the hearing Tuesday, according to CNN. Last month he rejected Hunter Biden's request to appear virtually for the first hearing in the case, requiring...

A federal magistrate judge has denied Hunter Biden’s request to appear virtually for his first court hearing in the federal gun case against him and set his arraignment for September 26. The initial court appearance and arraignment for President Joe Biden’s son will be held at 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday before Magistrate Judge Christopher J. Burke. “In the end, the Court agrees with both Defendant … and the Government … that Defendant should not receive special treatment in this matter – absent some unusual circumstance, he should be treated just as would any other defendant in our Court. Any...

A smattering of demonstrators gathered outside the D.C. federal courthouse Thursday to show support for former President Trump ahead of his arraignment on charges linked to his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election results. Dion Cini, 54, who traveled from Brooklyn, N.Y., with other protesters, said he was “really surprised” more people didn’t show up to support the former president, claiming that the Justice Department is trying to stop Trump from becoming president again. “I want to witness the greatest travesty in American history firsthand,” Cini told The Hill. “I want to see it live with my own eyes,...

Joe couldn’t resist the media forever. President Biden largely ignored his press pool while taking another leisurely bike ride Thursday morning, shouting a one-word answer to a CNN photographer who asked if he would be following his predecessor’s arraignment on federal charges in connection with the aftermath of the 2020 election. “Mr. President, will you be following the arraignment today, sir?” asked cameraman Jay McMichael as the commander-in-chief cycled toward him along a path in Rehoboth Beach, Del. “No,” the 80-year-old Biden answered as he pedaled by. Earlier, the president refused to answer queries about topics including the arraignment of...

The grand jury that will vote out an indictment on Donald Trump — or not — isn’t sitting today, delaying DA Alvin Bragg’s big moment in the sun of getting to arrest the former president. Trump has reportedly told aides that as long as he’s going to be arrested and processed, he may as well make a “spectacle” of the event. He has allegedly made it known to several aides that he wants to be handcuffed and perp-walked into the courthouse. Trump believes that refusing special treatment — a “remote” surrender or him arriving at the courthouse surreptitiously — would...

Former President Donald Trump is not expected to be arraigned until next week if he’s indicted over an alleged hush-money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels, according to a report. It is unclear who will be testifying on Wednesday. Trump declared in a post on his Truth Social account over the...

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband was slurring his words and unsteady on his feet in the moments after he allegedly injured another driver in a drunken California crash earlier this year, newly obtained court documents reveal. Paul Pelosi, 82, also reeked of alcohol and failed his sobriety test in the wake of the May 28 crash in Napa, according to a complaint obtained by The Post on Tuesday that sheds new light on the incident. Pelosi, who is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday on a pair of DUI charges related to the crash, was taken into custody at the scene...

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband, Paul Pelosi, will be arraigned Wednesday morning in a central California court on charges including driving under the influence of alcohol and causing injury. Pelosi was charged last month following his arrest in May in connection with his Porsche collided with a Jeep at an intersection near Yountville, Calif., police said. The Napa County Superior Court has not ordered Pelosi to appear at the arraignment, and he may choose to appear through his defense counsel, prosecutors also said. The arraignment will be broadcast over Zoom, and the detail of the court proceedings will afterward be...

A parolee charged with killing a University of Illinois at Chicago honor student spotted her as she walked alone past a CTA Blue Line stop on campus early Saturday morning and grew angered when she ignored his repeated attempts to talk, Cook County prosecutors alleged Tuesday. As Ruth George reached her car in a UIC parking garage, prosecutors said, Donald Thurman grabbed her around the neck from behind and put her in a chokehold. With his arm still wrapped around her neck, Thurman dragged an unconscious George to her car and threw her in the back seat, where he sexually...

Embattled attorney Michael Avenatti will have a busy day in Manhattan federal court Tuesday -- but as a defendant, not as counsel. Avenatti, 49, is scheduled to be arraigned on charges that he tried to extort up to $25 million from athletic apparel giant Nike by threatening to expose claims that the shoemaker paid off high school basketball players to steer them to Nike-sponsored colleges. He also is scheduled to be arraigned on charges that he stole nearly $300,000 from adult film actress Stormy Daniels, the client who rocketed him to national prominence. In the Nike case, Avenatti is charged...

Where is the USS New York? At 684 feet long and displacing over 24,900 tons, the Mayport, Fla.-based San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock is no smart car of the seas. Yet the vessel has gone “dark” for more than a week now. The low profile might have something to do with the fact that the New York is currently home to the recently captured Ahmed Abu Khattala, one of the accused ringleaders of the Sept. 11-12, 2012, Benghazi terrorist attacks that left four Americans dead. While any ship’s location is supposed to be a well-guarded secret when deployed, the New...

Three of the nine teenagers accused of driving 15-year-old Irish immigrant Phoebe Prince to commit suicide have been ordered to stay away from her family. Sean Mulveyhill, 17, Austin Renaud, 18, and Kayla Narey, 17, were all freed today on personal recognizances as long as they left Phoebe's heartborken family alone. Judge Judd Carheart made the ruling in a brief arraignment which the three teenagers did not attend.
