The grand jury that will vote out an indictment on Donald Trump — or not — isn’t sitting today, delaying DA Alvin Bragg’s big moment in the sun of getting to arrest the former president.
Trump has reportedly told aides that as long as he’s going to be arrested and processed, he may as well make a “spectacle” of the event. He has allegedly made it known to several aides that he wants to be handcuffed and perp-walked into the courthouse. Trump believes that refusing special treatment — a “remote” surrender or him arriving at the courthouse surreptitiously — would show strength and defiance.
That may be. But the Secret Service insists that Trump take a safer route to his arraignment — one that doesn’t involve a showy pageant and media circus.

Trump’s legal team in the hush money case has recoiled at the idea of him going in person and recommended that Trump allow them [sic] to quietly turn himself in next week and schedule a remote appearance, even citing guidance from his Secret Service detail about potential security concerns.
But Trump has rejected that approach and told various allies over the weekend that he didn’t care if someone shot him – he would become “a martyr”. He later added that if he got shot, he would probably win the presidency in 2024, the sources said.
Alvin Bragg has it in his power to refuse to handcuff and perp-walk Trump into the courthouse. And if he had an ounce of common sense, that’s exactly what he’d do. I think Alvin the Chumpmonk needs to hold off with the chasing after Trump until he is renamed by one of the African belly-ache groups. Braxton Bragg was a Confederate General and a piss pour one at that. Kind of like Alvin. Time for Alvin to be renamed. Alvin Soros would be nice. Or maybe Alvin Affirmative Action. That would work. He’s just offending too many people of color with this Confederate General’s name. I’ll bet those who voted for him had to hold their nose while they voted.

For example, in Singapore the team leader of one of the extrication units, so our role would be management trackside and our remit would finish when the patient gets to the medical centre or is transferred to a trauma centre. With any race, the circuit’s always well equipped.
There’s an operating theatre in the middle of Silverstone so you can manage major trauma.
A dedicated trauma hospital will also be on call for the event. That’s not too dissimilar from the local events; although the numbers are much smaller, there will be arrangements with a hospital that will be aware it could receive trauma casualties.

Trump will wear those handcuffs like a brass ring. He’s in control and he knows it.
He knows there is no evidence, and the more the harass him for imaginary charges they know to be false, the worse the retribution.
The letter from Cohen’s attorney stating that Cohen paid the whore, not Trump, and he was not reimbursed, kills their whole narrative. And they had to know this already.
I wonder if Cohen was setting up Trump all along.
