KALAMAZOO, MI — With sheepishness in his voice and a spot of Three-Pepper Sauce™ on his collar, local accountant Zed Filbertson was seen on a call with his credit card company, informing them that yes, regretfully he was actually eating at Arby's for the third time that day. The credit card company's fraud detection unit expressed skepticism at Filbertson's claim. "I assure you, I'm sitting in a booth at the 5th South Arby's right now, finishing up my curly fries and pondering my life choices," insisted Mr. Filbertson as he finished up his curly fries and sighed audibly. "I understand...

U.S. — After urging from environmental activists, the World Economic Forum, and Bill Nye the Science Guy, Arby's has changed its slogan to "We Have The Bugs." "We felt it was time for us to shed our archaic, meat-centric image and promote a more environmentally-friendly cuisine," said Samber Rothborg, the new Chief Diversity Officer for Arby's. "It's important that we acknowledge our shameful past while charting a course forward into a more sustainable future for all of us." Rothborg's eyes then glazed over and she seemed to shut down like an android. Arby's will now offer roast mealworms, roast crickets,...

Better known for its roast beef, the chain is adding a hamburger to its menu for the first time in its nearly 60-year history. Arby's announced Monday it's adding the "Wagyu Steakhouse Burger," which costs $5.99, as a limited-time offering beginning Monday through July 31. Fast-food chains are constantly competing for customers' dollars and attention, and specialty offerings are a way to attract new customers and maintain existing ones. That's important for Arby's, which has 3,400 U.S. restaurants, according to industry research firm Technomic. That's a substantially smaller footprint compared to other chains, like McDonald's (roughly 14,000 locations). As...

Police told TMZ that Solo, 40, was taken into custody in the parking lot of a Walmart in Winston-Salem, and processed in the Forsyth County jail. Solo allegedly had two young kids in the car at the time. She is married to former NFL tight end Jerramy Stevens and they have 2-year-old twins. It was not immediately clear if it was the twins who were in the car with her at the time, but TMZ says it was “likely”...

Arby's limited-time menu has recently grown by four new sandwiches, all of which are currently available nationwide. Seemingly taking a page out of Popeyes' book, the chain has grown its already strong fish sandwich category with an additional spicy offering. Plus, a beloved classic carrying seven ounces of corned beef has also made a return (or has it?). 1 Crispy Fish Sandwich arby's crispy fish sandwich Courtesy of Arby's The classic Arby's offering during Lenten season, this sandwich is a must as soon as spring rolls around. It's made with a crispy filet of wild-caught Alaskan Pollock, tartar sauce, and...

On nearly every long-haul road trip of my life, I've made an essential pit-stop through the Arby's drive-thru for one thing: the fast food joint's top-notch Curly Fries. Now, my obsession with the crispy coiled potato strings is hardly a controversial one. In fact, the fan-favorite has earned Arby's a Fasties Award. But, the chain's latest spin on said fries? That might raise a few brows. Arby's is entering the booze scene with the debut of two French fry-flavored vodkas, modeled after its famed Curly Fries and newly-released Crinkle-Cut Fries. "Arby's recently added a Crinkle-cut option to accompany our iconic...

Morgan implied fast food eatery was linked to organized crimeWhile he may take no prisoners in the courtroom, high-profile Orlando attorney and Florida’s so-called “pot daddy” John Morgan is making amends -- with Arby’s. To settle the internet beef between him and the fast food chain, Morgan got decked out in matching meat sweats and filmed an apology video outside his vacation home in Maui. The feud started a few weeks ago when Morgan posted one of his popular #Johnin60secs videos where he regularly muses on topics like getting recognized at the grocery store despite wearing a mask because he...

If Arby's isn't the first restaurant you think of when you hear the word "prime rib," the folks at the 3,400-unit chain want to change your mind with two new cheesesteak sandwiches that use this top-grade cut of beef. Prime rib is as good as it gets, often reserved for holiday dinners and special occasions, so to use it in a humble cheesesteak sandwich is a little surprising. Usually, cheesesteaks are made with thinly-sliced ribeye or skirt steak, fried with onions and sometimes peppers, tossed with some American cheese, provolone, or, in the case of the classic original Geno's in...

From venison, elk, and duck to sandwiches with layers upon layers of meat and curly fries stacked on top, Arby's has offered some particularly unique products in the past. Now the sandwich chain is flipping the vegan "meat" trend on its head, leaning into its "We have the meats" slogan and creating its most bizarre concoction yet: the "megetable," a vegetable made out of meat. And Arby's new megetable, the "Marrot," is exactly what it sounds like: a meat-based carrot that not only tastes like the orange vegetable but has much of its nutritional value.

Apparently roast beef sandwiches weren’t enough for this winner. A Florida Man is accused of stealing $1450 that was being counted by an Arby’s cashier. The man, Christopher Merrick, told police that the money “was like calling out to me” before he grabbed it. He walked into a closed Arby’s in as a female worker was counting the cash for her cash drawer. When the employee walked away from the counter, Merrick, grabbed the cash and ran out of the store. Merrick ran into a nearby McDonald’s and hid in the women’s bathroom.

An Oklahoma Arby’s manager has been arrested after shooting and killing a customer she had gotten into an argument with, police say. Deionna Young, 25, is facing a first-degree murder charge stemming from the alleged incident that unfolded Saturday in Tulsa. One hour later, they say, Tallent returned to the store and Young got in her car and followed him out of the parking lot.

BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. (KMSP) - Brooklyn Center police have identified a suspect after someone rearranged the letters of an Arby’s sign so it contained two offensive words. The sign above an Arby’s restaurant in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota reportedly contained a racist and a sexist word on it, prompting a police investigation Sep. 1. Photos submitted by Fox 9 viewers showed the sign, which read “Now Hiring” across the top. Underneath that line, however, a racial slur and a sexist word were both displayed. Thursday, Brooklyn Center Police charged Usindini Christopher Colling-Harper, 19, of Minneapolis for the crime. He admitted to...

Drunk on his media-infused power, Parkland, Fla., high school student David Hogg has taken to targeting individual companies for advertising on Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle,” setting his sights on Arby’s. I hope they’ve stocked up on beef. A number of companies have pulled advertising from Ingraham’s show in response to a tweet Wednesday from the Fox News host about how Hogg “whines” online over being rejected by four colleges. The 17-year-old high school student, working in tandem with George Soros-backed Media Matters, called for a boycott after Ingraham’s tweet, sharing a list of her main advertisers online. (With...

.....The struggling sandwich chain has seen customer traffic plummet a whopping 25 percent over the past five years.... In a Nov. 30 memo to franchisees that revealed the stomach-churning drop, Subway’s owners promised $25 million to boost marketing this spring for the company’s 44,000 locations and to bring back a limited-time, $4.99 footlong sandwich promotion..... ....the crucial footlong deal — aimed squarely at the McDonald’s dollar menu — is in danger because of a revolt by franchise owners, who fret that doubling down on discounts will further shave their already thin profits. The deal follows a trend of other mergers among restaurant chains. Earlier this month, Au Bon Pain agreed to be bought by Panera, which itself was bought earlier this year by JAB, the owner of Krispy Kreme and Peet’s Coffee. In addition, Burger King parent Restaurant Brands bagged Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen earlier this year, and Olive Garden owner Darden bought Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen.
