BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. (KMSP) - Brooklyn Center police have identified a suspect after someone rearranged the letters of an Arbys sign so it contained two offensive words.
The sign above an Arbys restaurant in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota reportedly contained a racist and a sexist word on it, prompting a police investigation Sep. 1.
Photos submitted by Fox 9 viewers showed the sign, which read Now Hiring across the top. Underneath that line, however, a racial slur and a sexist word were both displayed.
Thursday, Brooklyn Center Police charged Usindini Christopher Colling-Harper, 19, of Minneapolis for the crime. He admitted to creating the offensive message on the sign.
He has no known ties to Arbys and was not employed by the restaurant.

For eff’s sakes, what were the words?
What a bunch of ninnies.
Hit me,I can take it, you lefty dweebs!
Never happened.
Is this a contest where we try to name the words?
This is something kids have been doing for as long as I can remember.
And Im old.
“offensive” could be any word in the dictionary these days...
Words are crimes?
If he had posted “I love abortion” or “*slam is a religion of peace” he would not have been arrested.
“No Irish”
(from Blazing Saddles)
Back then the offender was reprimanded and the sign was corrected. Nobody thought to write a story about it.
These days, Arby's will likely be cutting a check to the SPLC or some other professional aggrievement organization for their penance.
“This is something kids have been doing for as long as I can remember.”
Yep. A sign for the Roman Legion was written over with, “Make wine, not war.” (In Latin, of course. Very literate kids, then. ;)
I know. I’ve been trying to find a site that will actually name or at least give better hints as to the words, but I’ve turned up nothing.
A few years ago, someone rearranged a local sign advertising “Breakfast With Santa” to “Breakfast with Satan”. But I didn’t hear much furor about it.

As you surmise, political correctness has reached absurd levels.
A few years back the Nationals were in Philadelphia and there was a ‘Lotto’ sign in the area of the visitors bullpen.
The players kept changing the sign for the total expected victory and the ANNOUNCERS thought that was the funniest thing since granny caught her self in the clothes ringer.
Even this year those two dolts mention the incident as if it were something more than dummies without anything to do and acting JUVENILE.
Then again I am under the suspicion that the 2nd man in the booth “FP” is getting paid by the word seeing as all the crap this dude throws out.
He also must think himself some kind of genious since all his ‘stats’ are presented as ....
He is 3 runs away from 100 instead of he has 97 runs batted in.
Then again, it is easy to ‘knitpick’ a fool when you think he/she is a PIA anyway...
About 45 years ago, I did this kind of thing myself. The ruder and cruder words we could make, the funnier we thought it was.
When one got caught, there were consequences, but being that PC existed only in the minds of the diseased marxist intelligentsia in those days, the penalty was commensurate with the actual damages: a good chewing out. End of episode.
I feel sorry for kids nowadays... they are always under the socialist do-gooders' thumb and don't even know it.
I remember there was a dry cleaners nearby some years back who had one of those signs with the removable letters and on one occasion, it was supposed to read “Same Day Shirt Service” and some thoughtful person removed the “r” from “Shirt” and you can imagine the chuckles that the results got.
Well the ‘sexist’ word is “whores” so apparently sex worker shaming is bad or else the outrage was about false advertising.
The racist slur starts with n.
And yet police did not arrest a visiting ‘artist’ in Houston who vandalized a bud beer billboard to mock Jesus “King of Beers - King of Jews”
I took Latin for 2 years in HS. I couldnt do as well as Brian in this clip
