U.S. — After urging from environmental activists, the World Economic Forum, and Bill Nye the Science Guy, Arby's has changed its slogan to "We Have The Bugs."
"We felt it was time for us to shed our archaic, meat-centric image and promote a more environmentally-friendly cuisine," said Samber Rothborg, the new Chief Diversity Officer for Arby's. "It's important that we acknowledge our shameful past while charting a course forward into a more sustainable future for all of us." Rothborg's eyes then glazed over and she seemed to shut down like an android.
Arby's will now offer roast mealworms, roast crickets, and roast Pfizer mRNA protein cubes instead of their traditional offering of delicious food. Climate experts agree this move could contribute to a 0.0000000000003 degree global temperature drop within 52 trillion years. "Vee are pvoud of ze steps Arby's iz takink to save ze planet," said WEF Chairman Klaus Schwab.
At publishing time, Burger King had announced they were changing their slogan from "You Rule" to "Easily Digestible Protein Sources Such As Fried Grasshoppers Rule."

Very often, when the term ‘bug’ is used anywhere near the word climate, my thoughts travel to the oil-eating ocean bacteria. There are, at least, seven types of ocean bacteria (bugs) that can survive solely on hydrocarbons, petroleum, oil. Often, when there is a spill, the ocean bacteria expand into clouds and consume most of it. (it is good to remember the large amount of oil that seeps into the oceans from the sea floor every day). I remember some ‘scientists’ trying to questimate just how much oil streamed out of the Deepwater Horizon incident. When they were done questimating, they stated they could not find over half of what they expected. They began searching for large clouds of oil that did not reach the surface. Later some real scientists stated that the 7+ species of bacteria probably consumed the ‘missing’ oil, since the oil is their food.
Try our double roached bugbeef. Special Arby’s slime sauce included.
Almost had me, on this one. (I haven’t been to an ABs in years.)
“In Climate Initiative, Arby’s Changes Slogan To ‘We Have the Bugs’”
that sounds like a boast about causing gastroenteritis ...
they’d be much better off with:
“In Climate Initiative, Arby’s Changes Slogan To ‘We Have the INSECTS’”
I think the vax will kill more people than “climate change” but I thinks that their plan.
I will say that if I’m ever tempted to eat bugs or vermin, Arby’s and Horsie Sauces will have to be involved.
The last time I went to Arby’s I asked for potatoe cakes
the acted like I was stupid. I asked when they stopped serving them and he said last week.
Those were the only thing that made me want to go there.
while I am ranting:
It’s 2023 and The Pandemic is over Costco
Bring Back the Combo Pizza already
The Babylon Bee always good to read.
If anyone wants to see who else is in the In climate initiative check out C40 members
Burger King will advertise “Have It My Way”.
They stopped selling the potato cakes? Those were my favorite item there. I used to like to salt them and dip them in a little Horsey Sauce. Weird, i know, but it was good. 😋
Of course this is satire. I mean, where is a restaurant ever going to find bugs??
Hmm, come to think of it, White Castle may be way ahead of them here.
