On March 20, a coalition of communist groups, 9/11 “Truth” activists and anti-Israel extremists gathered in San Francisco to protest against — well, just about everything. The event was in theory an “anti-war” rally timed to coincide with the seventh anniversary of the start of the Iraq War, but since that war is basically over, the anti-war movement now has not only evaporated almost completely but has also lost its focus, as a plethora of tangential issues and petty gripes have taken center stage. Just watched the 6:00 'news' on channel 11. . . they say thousands marched in San Francisco against the "surge." One sign I read said: "Impeach. Prosecute. Execute." One protester interviewed praised the diverse crowd - she was especially happy with the DOG turnout. The reporter said usually they see a few war-supporting counter-protestors, but today there were none, although they looked and looked and looked. Send reinforcements!

After attending the “You Don’t Speak For Me, Cindy” rally at the State Capitol on Wednesday, I KNEW I had to do whatever it took to be there for the “Peace and Justice” rally on Saturday. In between taxiing kids to various activities and attending a funeral for a friend, I managed to spend a few hours with some of the most angry, hateful people I have EVER been around in my entire life! It is an experience I will NEVER forget and I am so glad that I was able to go. I was very nervous about going alone,...

Promoting worldwide defeat By William Hawkins Published September 22, 2005 Before Hurricane Katrina took center stage, President George W. Bush was making speeches in support of the war in Iraq. While commemorating the U.S. victory in World War II at San Diego Aug. 30, he warned of the al Qaeda strategy in Iraq, "They want us to retreat so they can topple governments in the Middle East and turn that region into a safe haven for terrorism." He posed the question "Do we return to the pre-September 11 [2001] mind-set of isolation and retreat, or do we continue to take...

Solitary Freep of the Al Sheehani Freakshow, PA State Capitol, Harrisburg, PA. This stop was apparently a recent addition to their tour which originally listed only Pittsburgh & Philly. Their rally was to run from 5- 6 pm on Wed. Sept 14. Before the rally some members apparently met with legislators. I arrived on the scene at 5. Wasn't sure if there would be any other ground support, but I came prepared with extra signs just in case. My sign was about 24x36" and was constructed so that I could fold it up & tuck it in my backpack. Emblazoned...

This is a good one to tape because the WACKOS who are actually speaking are a far cry from Mr. & Mrs. Average American that the Lamestream Press would lead you to believe are prevelant at these demonstrations.

The Support Our Troops Patriots Rally For America III, co-sponsored by the D.C. Chapter of Free Republic and MOVEOUT (Marines and Other Veterans Engaging Outrageous Un-American Traitors) was held on Saturday, January 18, 2003, at the Constitution Gardens area of the Mall overlooking the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall and other war memorials. It was a crisp clear morning and it was extremely cold -- 9 degrees. In fact, it was the coldest day so far this winter in Washington, D.C. Doctor Raoul volunteered to be at the site early to oversee the set up of the stage and sound system....

I just found the complete video from the Anti-War rally in Washington that took place on Saturday. Just click HERE to go to the C-SPAN home page. Then scroll down to below "Most Watched Video" section and then click on the link next to "Anti-War Rally in Washington." This video is almost 3 and a half hours long so I have a homework assignment for you. Please let us know the juicy parts (such as Ramsey Clark's call for Bush's impeachment) and how far we have to fast forward into the video. Hopefully most of the speeches can be indexed...

How many anti-war protestors ACTUALLY showed up at the Washington, D.C. rally yesterday? I watched some of it yesterday on C-SPAN and from the shots of the crowds it didn't look too thick. Unfortunately I saw no aerial shots of this event. The protestors are claiming over 200,000 and the newspapers are saying only "Tens" of thousands. The pictures I have seen of this event show low densities of people. When you look at the pics, the protestors have ample space between them which indicates a small crowd. I am guessing that there were only between 10,000 and 20,000 protestors...

<p>NEW YORK — They don't look like '60s-style hippies, haven't coined catchy slogans like "Make Love, Not War," and maybe weren't even alive when John Lennon wrote "Give Peace a Chance."</p>
<p>But members of the American anti-war movement are already busy in their efforts to oppose President Bush's campaign to forcibly disarm Iraq -- even though a military effort against Saddam Hussein is by no means assured, or that it seems to be backed by a majority of Americans.</p>

U.S. Rep. Jim McDermott broadened his attack on George W. Bush's war plans yesterday, saying the president is threatening military action in Iraq as part of a plot to crown himself emperor of America. Criticized for saying on a trip to Iraq early last week that Bush would mislead the American public, McDermott, a Seattle Democrat, was back in his district yesterday telling cheering supporters that Bush is planning a war to distract voters' attention from domestic problems. He said Bush is trying to "submarine" efforts to restart weapons inspections in Iraq to give him a pretext for starting...
