On Wednesday, the FBI released a report detailing hate crimes that occurred in 2005. This report should drive a stake into the heart of incessant claims by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) of an anti-Muslim backlash in the US since 9/11. Of the 1,405 victims of an anti-religion hate crime, 69.5 percent were Jewish (848 incidents resulting in 900 offenses committed against 977 victims by 364 offenders).
