KOTV meteorologist Clint Boone has died suddenly. The news was first reported by FTVLive and confirmed by a tweet from Mike Collier, the chief meteorologist at KJRH, Boone’s former station. “Just heartbroken,” wrote Collier. “My best friend, Clint Boone passed away today. Please pray for him family and his TV family at @NewsOn6 and @KJRH2HD. Boone started working at the Tulsa, Oklahoma CBS affiliate this January. Kay Bailey Hutchison told a Texas magazine she will not seek re-election after this term and may leave the Senate as early as 2009, according to excerpts published on the magazine's Web blog on Monday. MARTINEZ -- A defense attorney who stepped in to represent convicted murderer Susan Polk at her sentencing stepped down Monday. Defense attorney Charlie Hoehn took Polk's case after her conviction to assist in writing pre-sentencing motions, including a motion for a new trial. A jury convicted Polk in June of second degree murder in the 2002 stabbing death of her husband, Felix Polk. She acted as her own attorney at trial and testified that she killed him in self-defense.
