And they’re tweeting about it. Here are some I was able to find. If this guy was up for reelection in November instead of 2012, he’d already be preparing for a permanent vacation a la Dodd and Dorgan. As it is, he’ll limp along for two more long years — unless he finally crumbles and decides to be the 41st “no” vote after all. Or rather, the 42nd, if/when Scott Brown wins. Yes, there is definite anger at those anti-health care reform town hall meetings. But if you listen closely to what is being...

Congress -- and possibly Citigroup -- may be gearing up to start funding the organized crime syndicate ACORN again. The current federal funding ban expires Dec. 18. On Tuesday evening the House Appropriations Committee rejected on a party line vote of 9 to 5 an amendment offered by Rep. Tom Latham (R-Iowa) that would have blocked federal funding of the radical advocacy group. The amendment was needed because the Obama administration thumbed its nose at a provision in spending legislation that banned ACORN funding until the end of next week. In a ruling revealed late last month by the Justice...

PAY RAISE DEAD? Critics hail vote, say lawmakers 'heard the outcry' of angry voters Thursday, November 03, 2005 BY IRVIN KITTRELL III AND JIM LEWIS Of The Patriot-News Though Christmas is more than a month away, state lawmakers' vote to repeal the controversial pay raise last night moved one vocal critic to rejoice, "There is a Santa Claus." WHP radio talk-show host Bob Durgin, who has railed against the 16 percent to 54 percent raises for the legislative, judicial and executive branches of state government, said he suspects senators voted to repeal out of fear for their political careers, not...
