David Littman, husband of the well known islamic scholar Bat Ye'or ("Eurabia"), is celebrated by Israel for his outstanding courage when he was 27. Then, in 1961, Littman helped 530 Jewish children to get out of Morocco. Littman was praised by Israel in 1986, 2004, and again in 2008, when he met President Peres.
