The director of the Fresno airport has been suspended for skirting security before he boarded a jet, forcing dozens of passengers to be rescreened after they landed in Texas. Charles Hayes said he "totally screwed up" by not passing through metal detectors at Fresno Yosemite International Airport on March 14 when he left for a Federal Aviation Administration meeting in Washington.
