It’s election time again and that means it's time for the Democrats' regular pilgrimage to black communities to remind them of our sad state of affairs where racist evildoers -- Republicans of course -- actively work to keep black people down. And the only hope for relief is by voting for Democrats -- who, by the way, have run the country for 12 of the last 16 years. This race-baiting is disgusting but is what even more disgusting is that large portions of the black community buy into it. Due to the sad state of this country’s K-12 public education...

“All of us need to renounce language and acts of violence, especially against Black people, especially against Palestinians, especially against Muslims, Jews and anybody else," Cornel West told theGrio.Political leaders quickly condemned what is being investigated as an apparent assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump on Saturday evening at a Pennsylvania campaign rally. President Joe Biden said, “There is no place for this type of violence in America,” and was “grateful” Donald Trump, who appeared to be shot or grazed on the ear, “is safe and doing well.” The presumptive 2024 Democratic presidential nominee declared, “Everybody must condemn...

What does “African American” mean? Like its companion phrase, “Hispanic,” “African American” is a woke term that ignores historical reality and the complicated histories of the African and Latin American continents. “African American” generally means someone whose ancestors came to America as slaves from Africa, a vast continent with myriad races and cultures. There are five countries north of the Sahara that generally do not fall into the black Africa category: Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, and Tunisia. These regions were involved in white slavery via the Barbary pirates (over 1 million European slaves estimated), and Congress re-established the U.S. Navy...

According to suit brought by Jim Trotter, Jerry Jones and Tery Pegula (r.) made racist comments about multiple issues. This morning, Pro Football Talk tweeted out the first look NFL fans have gotten at longtime NFL reporter Jim Trotter’s discrimination suit against the NFL. Trotter’s suit, filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, names the National Football League and NFL Network, Trotter’s former employer, as defendants. The complaint filed on Trotter’s behalf spans a full 53 pages, but PFT tweeted out a few of the allegations contained therein, including allegations of statements that...

... The owner, who goes by thebarefootislandlady on Instagram, said many business people are miserable because of their clientele, but she was not going to allow bad customers to do that to her. “I’m not risking my health and my happiness for people, no short-term stay, no short-term stay. It is not going to happen here. She continued, “I would rather eat salt and bananas and let goats and cows into my house than have you come in and disrespect it. I would not hate my business because of customers. A lot of business people are miserable because of their...

Video at https://www.tiktok.com/@rusticmountainliving/video/7235721669132832042The Jamaican owner of the Rustic Mountain Living rental company shocked social media by saying she wouldn’t allow any more short-term stays. The reason? She’s fed up with the alleged misbehavior of Black American guests. In a TikTok video, “The Barefoot Mountain Lady,” said she doesn’t believe all Black Americans are ill-mannered, but most of the ones she hosted were entitled, unappreciative and generally disrespectful in her presence. She said she only ever had two mannerly Black American guests. The most eyebrow-raising statement was toward the end. The owner claimed Black Americans are spoiled and expect the same...

In a recent online presentation, editors and researchers working on a first-of-its-kind dictionary of African American English gave a status update on the project. As academics explained their various methodologies, slides displayed behind them showed words that are more often associated with Twitter than Oxford: “Bussin,” virtual attendees were told, means impressive or tasty, while a “boo” is a lover. Those were two of the first 100 words that the Oxford University Press said it had prepared to include in the Oxford Dictionary of African American English, the hopeful result of the three-year research project announced last spring.

Why are woke white people always trying to convince blacks and other minorities that the American system is rigged against us and forces driven by white privilege will never let us excel? In a recent commencement address, Carol Strohecker, dean of the University of Minnesota’s College of Design, perpetuated that narrative by saying anti-black racism killed Minnesotans like George Floyd and Amir Locke and countless other black Americans across our nation. Strohecker is another liberal in the woke mob, trying to convince black people, like me, that America is racist, and we are oppressed. No matter how hard white liberals...

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis raised eyebrows on Wednesday when he referred to Elon Musk as an African American, thanking him for his support for the Republican Party. Musk had tweeted that he had voted for a GOP candidate for the first time (Mayra Flores in South Texas) and added that he predicts a “massive red wave in 2022.” He said that he was unsure who his pick for president in 2024 would be but that he was leaning towards DeSantis, who is rumoured to be considering a presidential run. In response to that, DeSantis told reporters: “I’m focused on 2022…...

Blacks have been a growing presence on television for decades. This reflects their huge and positive impact on the most visible aspects of American life—the arts (especially music), entertainment, religion, politics, and sports. Black leaders and stars achieved this even though they often faced discrimination and their group today is still only 13 percent of the population. But that is not enough to satisfy today’s identity activists. From 2018, advertisements on television changed sharply. The actors in them had been mostly white, presumably because over 60 percent of the population is white. But now suddenly most of the whites vanished,...

Americans have seen tyranny up close now, and most are horrified. Thank God for that. But the elite have rapidly closed in on their goal of subjecting the People to total submission. They’re not about to take their foot off the gas now. And they have nearly unlimited resouces. We must united as free men and women or perish as slaves. With that principle in mind, it’s time we fully repudiate this idea that white Americans are in any way against black Americans. With obvious exceptions to the rule, it is just NOT the case. What IS true, is that...

Thomas Fuller, familiarly known as the Virginia Calculator, was a native of Africa. At the age of fourteen he was stolen, and sold into slavery in Virginia, where he found himself the property of a planter residing about four miles from Alexandria. Born in Africa somewhere between present-day Liberia and Benin, Fuller was enslaved and shipped to America in 1724 at the age of 14, eventually becoming the legal property of Presley and Elizabeth Cox of Alexandria, Virginia. The Coxes owned 16 slaves, and appeared to value Fuller the most; he expressed gratitude for not being sold. He did...

Zaila Avant-garde is the new national spelling bee champion, but it's not the first time she's been on top of the world at something. The 14-year-old from New Orleans was named the winner of the 2021 Scripps National Spelling Bee on Thursday, spelling words such as "querimonious," "ancistroid," "solidungulate." It was "Murraya," a genus of flowering citrus plants in Asia, that won Avant-garde the competition after runner-up Chaitra Thummala misspelled "neroli oil" in the 17th round. 13-year-old Zaila Avant-garde of Louisiana is your 93rd Scripps National #SpellingBee champion ‼️ The first African-American winner of the competition 👏 pic.twitter.com/y2Y5dAGcVN — ESPN...

The next Superman movie will look wildly different from anything that’s come before. That is indeed what Warner Bros. is planning, as a new report over at THR takes a look inside what’s on deck for this DC reboot. American justice is no longer blind. It can see, but only conservatives On January 6, decorated U.S. Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt was killed by a U.S. Capitol Police officer. She was among the crowd of protesters who entered the U.S. Capitol and was shot as she attempted to climb through a broken door outside the Speaker’s lobby, an area that leads to the House Chamber. Babbitt was unarmed and should not have been considered a threat by police officers. She was not a convicted criminal, in fact, she was a military hero. Babbitt served in the U.S. Air Force...

The biggest impediment to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s, dream of a society in which color is not considered important is the continued used of the extremely racist term "African-American". The term implies the descendants of slaves are a separate race whose members belong in Africa rather than the United States even though many have ancestors who were living in North America long before the American Revolution. The term "African American" arbitrarily segregates people by skin color. The term treats people with dark complexions as if they only had African ancestors even if more of their ancestors came from somewhere...
