The Texas Transportation Commission today selected members to serve on two citizens’ advisory committees for the Trans-Texas Corridor. Area residents on the I-35 Corridor Advisory Committee include Karen Marstaller of Waco, Don Greene of Lorena and John Erwin of Hillsboro. The State's Transportation Department has nearly 50 public meetings scheduled to hear from people along the proposed I-69 portion of the Trans-Texas Corridor. The corridor is planned as a superhighway with separate car and truck lanes, freight and commuter rail and utility lines.
