Greg Gutfeld and his “Red Eye Debate Center” sidekicks had fun bantering with a provocative work of art, which upset enough Adrian citizens to have it removed from city hall grounds to a less conspicuous spot in the park. Sculptor Mark Chatterley’s unorthodox statue, depicting seven people relying on each other and entitled “Blue Human Condition,” outraged enough residents who nicknamed it “The Orgy Statue” to invoke from Gutfeld’s cohorts a bevy of one-liners.

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — Adrian Cronauer, the man whose military radio antics inspired a character played by Robin Williams in the film “Good Morning, Vietnam,” has died. He was 79. Mary Muse, the wife of his stepson Michael Muse, said Thursday that Cronauer died Wednesday from an age-related illness. He had lived in Troutville, Virginia, and died at a local nursing home, she said. During his service as a U.S. Air Force sergeant in Vietnam in 1965 and 1966, Cronauer opened his Armed Forces Radio show with the phrase, “Goooooood morning, Vietnam!”

SALINE, MI - A 47-year-old Adrian woman lost her job after police determined she put laxatives in a departing co-worker's going-away brownies. Police were called on May 3 to MMI Engineered Solutions, 1715 Woodland Drive in Saline, after the company received a tip from an employee that the woman planned to put laxatives in brownies she was bringing to a send-off for another worker, said Saline Police Chief Jerrod Hart. The company intervened, confiscated the suspect brownies and called police before the brownies could be eaten, Hart said. (WXYZ) - The FBI was conducting raids Saturday night at multiple locations in southeast Michigan. Action News has learned Homeland Security and the Joint Anti-terrorism Task Force is also involved in a major operation.
