Dear Freepers Basil, suffered a stroke in early January. It left her paralyzed on her right side and unable to speak. She's got very limited speech and her mental faculties are diminished. She spent many weeks in a therapeutic hospital but when it became apparent that her condition wouldn't improve, our family decided she'd be much happier at home. Hopefully we can minimize her suffering and keep her comfortable. Please pray for her, and Mr. Basil who is an amazing care giver and hasn't left her side.

Bobbie Hardee, 63, had the fright of her life Wednesday morning. I was out there and didn't know what else to do," she said. S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control officials are warning residents to be on the lookout for animals acting strangely or aggressively, especially wild animals approaching humans. It's more common in the spring for people to run into rabid animals because...

KINGSPORT - A Fall Branch man broke into a Kingsport woman's home and took her purse and a handgun early Tuesday morning - but not before she got off two rounds in his direction. Clara Groseclose, 83, had just gone upstairs at her home around 3 a.m. when she heard a noise downstairs in the room she had just left, Kingsport Police Detective Cpl. David Quillen said. "She went to investigate and encountered a man inside the house near a...

It is sad to have to tell you that long time freeper, and one of the founders of Second Amendment Sisters needs your prayers. .DBWZ's husband of just over a year suffered a massive stroke yesterday. He is a firearms trainer, and the stroke occurred while he was working at the range. He is presently in a coma, and his future looks pretty grim at this point.<Please remember them in your prayers.
