A powerful earthquake that struck off Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula on July 29 has triggered a chain reaction of volcanic eruptions along the Pacific Ring of Fire. The 8.8 magnitude quake, followed by multiple aftershocks as strong as magnitude 6, appears to have reawakened long-dormant giants. Klyuchevskaya Sopka erupted a day after the seismic event for the first time in 600 years. Several other volcanoes, Shiveluch, Bezymianny, Karymsky and Avachinsky, have also roared back to life after roughly 300 years of dormancy. Meanwhile, scientists have detected a thermal anomaly at Mutnovsky, indicating rising heat and suggesting an eruption may be imminent....

In 1980, a graduate student at the University of Texas at Austin saw an ad for the Central Intelligence Agency on a bus. John Brennan decided to apply, thinking that such a job would satisfy his “wanderlust.” This month, the “wanderlust” of John Brennan came to an end, as the former CIA director stands accused of false testimony regarding the Russian collusion investigation. Ironically, Brennan was first selected for his honesty — at least in part. During his entry polygraph, Brennan admitted that he had voted for the communist party candidate for president in 1976. He was impressed that the...

The walls are closing in on Obama’s Deep State. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard dropped a political nuke Sunday morning on Fox News with Maria Bartiromo. Since March, the son of the former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro has been roaming the halls of the White House. Eduardo Bolsonaro, 41, is a sitting Brazilian congressman, but his latest job has been to convince U.S. officials that a dangerous Brazilian Supreme Court justice wants to throw him and his father into prison, simply for fighting against what they claim was a stolen election. And in multiple visits to Washington over the past several months, he has found a sympathetic audience. “This is nothing more, or less, than an attack on a Political Opponent — Something I know much...

In a long-overdue repudiation of international lawfare cloaked as human rights work, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has slammed sanctions on Francesca Albanese, the United Nations’s so-called “special rapporteur” for Palestinian territories, whose tenure has been the epitome of anti-Western, anti-American, and anti-Israeli provocation theatre. Albanese, an Italian academic turned ideological inquisitor, was appointed in 2022 by the United Nations Human Rights Council—a body whose moral compass spins like it was borrowed from James Comey, Crossfire Hurricane edition. Among its current members: China, Cuba, Sudan, and South Africa—a rogue’s gallery of surveillance states, strongmen, and serial rights abusers, nations...

Putin's 'Ship of Shame' is languishing in dock in grim Arctic port Murmansk, and has played no role in the war against Ukraine. Its crew were quietly sent to fight in the war instead.
