WICHITA COUNTY (KFDX/KJTL) — Six women who were arraigned on federal charges related to the shooting of an Alvarado police officer at an ICE detention center on July 4, 2025, were being held in the Wichita County Jail on Tuesday.
Jail records show that the following inmates were booked into the Wichita County Law Enforcement Center on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025, all of whom are currently in custody on a federal hold:
Savanna Batten, of Joshua
Joy Gibson, of Dallas
Maricela Rueda, of Fort Worth
Elizabeth Soto, of Fort Worth
Lynette Sharp, of Watauga
Rebecca Morgan, of Dallas
Federal court documents showed that all six detainees are named in federal complaints filed in the U.S. Northern District Court on charges related to what police called an “ambush-style shooting” at the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, an ICE facility currently in use by the Department of Homeland Security.
According to federal court documents, police initially responded to reports of vandalism at the facility, with several cars spray-painted with anti-ICE and anti-law enforcement statements. However, when authorities arrived on the scene, one was shot in the neck. Authorities said the officer who was shot survived.
Officials have called the ordeal a “peaceful protest turned shooting,” arresting a total of 15 people on federal charges stemming from the incident.

Lock the hos up and let the boys have at ‘em. That’s some punish that could cheer them up.
punish = punishment. Geez.
Unconstitutional. Cruel and unusual for the boys.
Better yet. Take them to the dog pound. Woof! Woof! Geez they’re ugly.
Surprise! None of them believe in “doing” their hair, or wearing makeup. Not even the “cute” one.
The upper right one isn’t bad looks wise. The others fit the usual stereotype.
Held in Wichita....
Detainee:
“Does it help that my dad is a lineman for the county, driving the main road, searchin’ in the sun for another overload?”
“Nope.”
“Was worth a try.”
“How about if I play it on my harmonica.”
“Still no.”
Wichita County is in Texas, almost impossible to determine from the post. Most articles such as this do not tell you where it is.
If they’re convicted, they can’t vote in 2026, 2028, etc, can they?

Uh, back to the masks, please. Can’t be too careful about germs in the air.
I think it’s called ‘being in jail for a few weeks’. These are latest mugs after being transferred.

The lower middle one has the common expression of Rachel Maddow, Jen Psaki and Elizabeth Warren——eyebrows up to show “I’m letting you know something you’re too stupid to have know but I’m so much smarter I’m going to lower myself to tell you.”
Several others have the look of the Women Who Kill nonfiction books. Coldly ready to emasculate a man with a sharp blade or dump his body into lime under a foot of soil to hide it.
Swanky prison attire... they would look better in orange overalls.
Are those even biological females?!

They never got over being runnersup in the pageant so are taking it out on all of us.

Pity the guard who must do a body cavity search. Won’t be eating tacos or tuna fish for a year.
Who, what, when, where, how, why, and to what extent ... are all relics of a bygone era in journalism. Now it’s just whatever advances the narrative, even if that means telling brazen lies.
