A bill to end federal benefits including Medicaid, housing assistance, student financial aid, and food stamps for noncitizens has been introduced by Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) in an effort to “put American citizens first,” Breitbart News has learned.
The proposal was released on Wednesday morning, with the third-ranking Senate Republican writing in an authorization to denaturalize naturalized citizens who “undermine domestic tranquility” by participating in unlawful protests involving violence or property destruction, and to “expand expedited removal authority.”
Cotton’s bill also addresses concerns regarding Afghan nationals living in the U.S. after it was determined that the suspected shooter who attacked two members of the National Guard last week came from Afghanistan under the Biden administration’s Operation Allies Welcome program.
If passed, the legislation would require “mandatory revetting of nationals of Afghanistan” as well as “provide for automatic termination of temporary protected status,” or TPS.

Lovin this! Never should’ve happened in the 1st place.
They will not assimilate. Muslim woman believes she is above American white laws. Everyone is Islamophobic.
You can’t expect me to believe that there aren’t already laws on the books to prevent these things.
Contribute nothing and be on Welfare for the rest of their lives , feeding off the taxpayer
“Muslim woman believes…”
She’ll never have a choice what to believe
The only question is…why are they still on welfare?
Off!!
Not sure when this was written...

Per the above...
“...Catalytic converters work really well! A brand-new one catches about 99% of the pollutants mentioned above, and converts them into safer chemicals. Thanks to catalysts in your car, we can all breathe a lot easier!”
They should have never been receiving those benefits to begin with. Sue every State, Red or Blue that provided them with those benefits, and withhold all Federal funds until the money they owe is paid back.
I wonder what Rand Paul thinks about this.
It’s good to live in the Land of Cotton
where old time values are not forgotten.
That’s my guy.
But Tom also needs to make a move on his stance on work visas, which will be tough.
He is the representative for the headquarters of Walmart, who is absolutely at the core of the Indian slave labor market.
As well Cotton is also the representative for the headquarters of JB Hunt and Tyson foods. His whole district is propped up on cheap foreign labor.
But how is it going to pass the Senate if they hold on to the filibuster?
Seems like a denaturalization provision for naturalized citizens would have to be prospective?
For example: Only applicable to those naturalized after the legislation is passed into law.
Not retrospective.
FWIW, regardless whether the noted law ever gets passed, would love to see denaturalizations start to be carried out under current law based on provable fraud in the naturalization process or oath. Possibly resulting in New York’s Momdani and Congresswoman Somali Bag Lady being handed one-way tickets back to home-sweet-home.
IVFT!
(I voted for this!)
Grandstanding. He knows it want get to first base unless the Republicans rescind the filibuster, something the democrats will do the first day they regain power. The Republicans are much too pure to do such a thing.
Moving from denying “illegals” to denying “non-citizens” welfare is a big, big step. Prior to this I cannot think of anyone but me who has said: No immigrant, neither illegal, legal or naturalized should come here and collect welfare.
Of course, some of us are against all government welfare, even for citizens. But that is a different topic.
If this takes 60 votes it’s dead and Cotton knows it so it could be just for show on his part.
No mystery..., it is OPM (OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY}. The mindset of those who dole out benefits negates any application of denial of benefits! In their minds it is "ONLY FAIR" to provide benefits, regardless of rules to the contrary!
It has been shown that there are ways around the 60 vote rule. Worked for the BBB. This is funding related. Maybe they can “deem it passed”.
