Call me a glutton for punishment, but in order to keep an eye on the moonbat crowd, I receive e-mails from Nancy Pelosi. Every time there's a "crisis," she's there, cranking the spigot for cash, cash, cash. When Jared Loughner went on a shooting spree in Tucson, dollar-signs filled her orbitals. And, yes, the rise of "extremists" in Wisconsin - the one that puts its public employee collective bargaining in line with... gasp!... Maryland's - has roused her again. Dear Fellow Democrat- This week's shameful action by the Wisconsin GOP is just the latest example of radical Republicans standing with...

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald said he couldn't find any police agency that would enforce his order to forcibly detain the 14 senators who fled Wisconsin. Memos and emails obtained by the Wisconsin State Journal from the offices of Fitzgerald and Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Ted Blazel show attorneys from three state agencies told Fitzgerald he was on shaky legal ground.

The tab to keep Madison operating through the weeks of union attempts to shut down the legislature has yet to be calculated entirely, but it has already run into the millions, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. The bill from the Department of Natural Resources alone for its personnel topped $350,000, and the parking tab for police to park their vehicles approached $100,000: The state Department of Administration is still tallying up the expenses run up by law enforcement agencies and other departments during the weeks of protests at the Capitol. For many days on end, there were hundreds of law...

MADISON, Wis. -- A report on damage to the Wisconsin Capitol that came following weeks of protests will not include any estimate of how much any repairs will cost. The restoration expert working on the report told The Associated Press on Thursday that what he submits to the state Department of Administration will only describe the damage done and the number of hours it would take to fix it, not the cost. Charles Quagliana said it will be up to DOA to provide the actual cost of repairs, which could include additional hours of work beyond his recommendation expected Monday....

A suspected arson attack has caused a widespread power cut in Berlin since Saturday. Authorities said on Sunday that it was a result of a politically motivated attack by “left-wing extremists". Around 45,000 households were left without electricity in southwest Berlin after high-voltage power lines were damaged by a fire, which authorities have described as a politically motivated attack by far-left extremists. Though power has been restored in some areas, thousands could be left without power until Thursday after what authorities say was a politically motivated attack by “left-wing extremists”. The blaze erupted on a cable bridge over the Teltow...

For over two decades, Venezuela has served as a critical outpost for Hezbollah in the Western Hemisphere, with reports detailing the group's entrenchment on Margarita Island and ties to the former regimes of Hugo Chávez and Nicolás Maduro. U.S. intelligence assessments and media investigations describe this presence as evolving from fundraising networks among the Lebanese diaspora in the 1980s to sophisticated operations involving training, smuggling, and financial schemes by the 2000s. Margarita Island, once a bustling tourist spot, has been highlighted as a primary hub, surpassing even the Tri-Border Area in Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay for Hezbollah's regional activities. Training...

A Swedish professor suggested Israel was behind the bloody terror attacks committed by Norwegian terrorist Anders Behring Breivik this past July, stirring up controversy in the country. Research professor Ola Tunander of the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) published an article in the Norwegian academic journal Nytt Norsk Tidsskrift in which he called to further examine Brevik's motives. According to Tunander, it is possible that some country was behind the terror attacks, hinting that Israel might be that country.

Portsmouth, NH (August 10, 2011) - Juliet Marine Systems, Inc. (JMS) announced today that the US Navy/USPTO have removed Secrecy Orders previously applied to GHOST. For the first time, Juliet Marine is able to release photographs of GHOST, the first super-cavitating craft, to the public. GHOST was designed and built by US Citizens for the US Navy at no cost to the government to protect US sailors, servicemen and servicewomen. Development of the first ever super-cavitating craft, in many ways, is as difficult as breaking the sound barrier. GHOST is a combination aircraft/boat that has been designed to fly through...

If you are angry (about the tension in St. Cloud) and want one entity to blame, it is Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, the primary federal refugee resettlement agency working in St. Cloud! That supposedly 'Christian' charitable organization is directly responsible for the high Somali numbers in St. Cloud, and they are jointly responsible for bringing over ten thousand Somalis from around the world to colonize Minnesota towns in the last ten years alone--Catholic Charities and World Relief MN (now Arrive Ministries)*** helped also. Of course they have brought many more than 10,000 in over two decades and not just...

WASHINGTON, Feb. 22, 2011 – Somali pirates killed all four Americans they had held hostage aboard a sailing vessel in the Indian Ocean this morning, U.S. Central Command officials announced. U.S. officials were negotiating with the pirates for the safe return of the captured Americans when the murders took place, officials said. Centcom officials said that in the midst of negotiations, U.S. forces responded to gunfire aboard the S/V Quest. When the forces reached the boat, officials said, they discovered all four hostages had been shot by their captors. Despite immediate steps to provide life-saving care, all four hostages ultimately...

NO ROOM SERVICE! That was actually the greatest danger facing Brian Williams as he reported about the Arab Spring protests at Tahrir Square in Cairo, Egypt in February 2011. Williams shortly afterwards told Jon Stewart on the Daily Show (45 second mark of video below) that he made eye contact with the man on the lead horse of a pro-government group on horseback and camels whipping the protesters. Unfortunately for the viability of Brian Williams' fib, the New York Times reported yesterday he was actually reporting in relative safety from a balcony near Tahrir Square.

Fusion GPS was hired by the Obama for America campaign to perform opposition research against Mitt Romney. Fusion GPS’s job was to gather research and connect reporters who would publish hit pieces while the lawyers made the payments and managed the relationships. In early 2012, the Obama campaign launched a political hit job against Mitt Romney campaign donors.... .... It is clear now that David Corn and Michael Isikoff are all connected to the strategy of hitting “enemies” of Obama. It also seems apparent that Mother Jones and Fusion GPS may have multiple connection points. They may also have been...

While the world’s attention is focused on the combat transpiring in Libya and the events in Egypt and Bahrain, Yemen has also descended into crisis. The country is deeply split over its support for Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, and this profound divide has also extended to the most powerful institutions in the country — the military and the tribes — with some factions calling for Saleh to relinquish power and others supporting him. The tense standoff in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa has served to divert attention (and security forces) from other parts of the country. On March 28,...

The Syrian people are exuberant about the end of the Bashar al-Assad regime. But there is one atrocity by this notorious family that has been described as “one of the darkest moments in the modern history of the Arab world.” That is the 1982 encirclement, starvation and mass execution of the residents of the Syrian city of Hama. This atrocity was committed by Bashar’s father, Hafez al-Assad. Last Friday, residents of Hama tore down the statue of Hafez al-Assad while the city fell to rebels. While much of the world just saw it as another Syrian city falling, its significance...

Americans were stunned on October 11 when the Justice Department unsealed its complaint against Mansour Arbabsiar, a 56-year-old used-car dealer from Corpus Christi now in federal custody, and Ali Gholam Shakuri, a member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force. Shakuri remains inside Iran. The pair have been charged with conspiring to kill the Saudi ambassador in Washington, Adel Al-Jubeir. As disclosed by the Treasury Department, the plot was coordinated by Arbabsiar’s cousin, Abdul Reza Shahlai, a top Quds Force functionary whom the Treasury designated in 2008 as one of several “individuals and entities fueling violence in Iraq.” Shahlai was...

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras — Followers of ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya decided Sunday not to form a political party and take part in 2013 elections, saying conditions are not in place for a democratic process. Instead, some 1,500 delegates to the first general assembly of the People's National Resistance Front, known popularly as Resistance, opted to eschew elections and push for the Central American nation's constitution to be rewritten, an effort that was begun by Zelaya and led to his ouster. "The conditions are not right to go to an electoral process," Zelaya's wife, Xiomara Castro, said in a speech Saturday....
