President Donald Trump’s administration on Thursday designated four European left-wing groups as terrorist organizations, following through on his vow to crack down on leftists after the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
The networks targeted by Trump’s Republican administration all appear to be based in Europe, with no operations in the United States. They are an Italian anarchist front that sent explosive packages to the then-president of the European Commission in 2003, two Greek networks believed to have planted bombs outside riot police and labor department buildings in Athens, and an anti-fascist group whose members were prosecuted by German authorities for a hammer attack against neo-Nazis in Dresden.
...
The most prominent of the European groups targeted by the Trump administration this week is the International Revolutionary Front, also known as the Informal Anarchist Federation. It first made itself known in 2003–04, when it sent explosive packages to the then-president of the European Commission, Romano Prodi.
In 2012, members of the group shot and wounded the chief executive of Italian nuclear power plant builder Ansaldo Nucleare, by targeting his legs. The attack revived a signature anarchist tactic from the 1970s known as gambizzazione — shooting someone in the leg with the intent to maim and intimidate. Two members of the group were sentenced to 10 years in prison for the attack, with their sentences aggravated by terrorism charges.
That group has also claimed responsibility for letter bombs sent to former Deutsche Bank chief Josef Ackermann at his Frankfurt offices in 2011 and to Italian newspaper offices and foreign embassies.
Armed Proletarian Justice is the name of the group that took responsibility for planting a bomb, which failed to explode, outside the Athens riot police building in December 2023.

Investigating these groups may lead to proving ties to US leftist agitators and terrorists.
The leftist media is deep in denial.
Locally, would the alphabet organizations responsible for planting the J6 bombs qualify as terrorist groups?
Being declared a terrorist organization has severe legal consequences, including the freezing of all assets within a country’s jurisdiction, a prohibition on any financial transactions with the organization, and the potential for criminal prosecution of anyone providing support to it. This designation also stigmatizes and isolates the group, hinders its ability to raise funds, and alerts other governments to concerns, while the organization can seek judicial review of the designation.
Let’s focus on domestic terrorists.
Start arresting known antifa and their supporters. Every single one rioting recently at Berzerkely should have been arrested and charged.
Have they challenged their designation as terrorists?
BBC for sure.
Ping. Four groups are:
Informal Anarchist Federation (Federazione Anarchica Informale) aka International Revolutionary Front (IRF aka Fronte Rivoluzionario Internazionale aka FRI)
Armed Proletarian Justice (APJ) aka Ένοπλη Προλεταριακή Δικαιοσύνη)
Revolutionary Class Self-Defense aka Revolutionary Self-Defense aka Organization for Revolutionary Self-Defense (Οργανισμός Επαναστατικής Αυτοάμυνας)
Antifa Ost aka Antifa East aka Hammerbande aka Hammer Gang (Lina Engel’s group)
Thanks for the ping… reminds of all the leftist enthusiasm for the assassination of white collars over here.
There is an “Anarchist Federation” group in the states:
Matthew Daniel Temael’s jail booking in Putnam County, Fla.
The website of extremist antifa-linked group, Anarchist Federation, put out a fundraising notice on Nov. 19 [2023] about Temael, who uses “she/her” pronouns.
“Dandelion is a transfemme Palauan youth anarchist incarcerated in Florida,” reads the post. “We aim to free her and help support her needs while she is inside.”
Temael was indicted by a Putnam County grand jury on charges of first-degree homicide, first-degree arson, burglary and vehicle theft. Because a judge denied Temael bond, the far-left activists say funds raised for their comrade will go to “maintaining inside contact, software, or other materials,” as well as support for other “marginalized relatives in captivity with her.” Toward the end of the campaign, it says the money will also go to the unnamed people running the campaign.
It is unknown when Temael relocated to Florida but she is originally from Brooklyn Park, Minn.—near Minneapolis—and has a history of militant far-left activism there. In July 2021, Temael was involved in a direct action in Pennington County, Minn. where she climbed on an excavator and locked herself there. Temael was charged with a felony and misdemeanor trespass on critical infrastructure. Temael’s LinkedIn says she was a student at Augsburg University in Minneapolis until 2021 studying “Youth Studies.”

It’s the same ideology motivating it, and the same tactical legacy. The anarchist movement used to mail letter bombs to CEOs.
What needs to be tracked here are the interconnections between these groups and other groups operating in the US, often via other countries. For instance, FAI is linked to the Greek groups listed and has cells throughout Latin America, and they are tied to the old Animal Liberation Front/Earth Liberation Front network, which goes by other names now. The ALF/ELF ties are particularly relevant to the Seattle Antifa end of the network (note the ALF/”furry” affinity), which paradoxically (but not surprisingly) intersects with the neo-Nazi movement on the West Coast.
Look into the Black Rose Anarchist Federation.
Related to the Greek groups, another group of interest is Conspiracy Cells of Fire aka aka Conspiracy of Fire Cells aka Conspiracy of Fire Nuclei (Συνωμοσία Πυρήνων της Φωτιάς or Synomosía Pyrínon tis Fotiás or SPF):

Compare their symbolism with the Symbol of Chaos:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symbol_of_Chaos
A variant of this symbol is used in Chaos Magick (Chaos Magic), a branch of Crowleyan Satanism linked to Nazi accelerationist groups (predecessors of 764 like the Process Church of the Final Judgment—compare their MO for recruiting online with that used by Thee Temple ov Psychick Youth before the Internet) as well as the anarchist movement:

Note the mention of Russian neo-Nazi Aleksandr Dugin in the Symbol of Chaos article.

In 1980, Dugin joined the “Yuzhinsky circle [ru]”, an avant-garde dissident group which dabbled in Satanism, esoteric Nazism and other forms of the occult.[29] The Yuzhinsky circle gained a reputation for Satanism, for séances, a devotion to all things esoteric – mysticism, hypnotism, Ouija boards, Sufism, trances, pentagrams and so forth.[30][31] In the group, he was known for his embrace of Nazism which he attributes to a rebellion against his Soviet upbringing, as opposed to genuine sympathy for Hitler.[32] He adopted an alter ego with the name of “Hans Sievers”, a reference to Wolfram Sievers, a Nazi researcher of the paranormal.[33] Under the pseudonym, transcribed as Hans Zievers in Cyrillic, he recorded a musical album in 1981-1984.[34]
Studying by himself, he learned to speak Italian, German, French, English,[35] and Spanish.[36] He was influenced by René Guénon and by the Traditionalist School. In the Lenin Library, he discovered the writings of Julius Evola, whose book Pagan Imperialism he translated into Russian.[37][38]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurasia_Party
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julius_Evola
Evola advocated that “differentiated individuals” following the left-hand path use dark violent sexual powers against the modern world. For Evola, these “virile heroes” are both generous and cruel, possess the ability to rule, and commit “Dionysian” acts that might be seen as conventionally immoral. For Evola, the left-hand path embraces violence as a means of transgression.
This is a useful piece on the interconnections between various groups in the FAI orbit:

Compare the “Mutual Aid Disaster Relief” tactics with those of Riot Kitchen (-> CHAZ), a Seattle-based participant in the 2020 Kenosha riots. The riot was organized by supporters of Bernie Sanders who had originally targeted the DNC convention and then cut a deal with Biden to support him if he supported the Green New Deal, arranged via Biden SEIU liaison Mary Kay Henry (see July 9 announcement from SEIU at https://www.seiu49.org/news/biden and subsequent July 20 action co-opting BLM called Strike for Black Lives). They were allied with CPUSA, the CPUSA spinoff Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism aka CCDS, DSA, RCP, FRSO/Liberation Road/BLM, etc. Essentially, they formed a new Popular Front in 2020, with Vietnam War antiwar movement veterans from SDS/WUO playing a lead organizing role (including Bill Ayers mentoring the pro-Iran protest movement and Indivisible). Here are some notes from the 2020 CDDS national convention naming members of the coalition:

Socialist Education Project report
CCDS National Convention
August 2020
The CCDS socialist education project held a planning workshop at the 2016
national convention in San Francisco, cosponsored by the Democracy Project. In
the four years since then the SEP has met monthly and consistently organized
over 40 “Fourth Monday” online Zoom discussions on a broad range of current
political topics, featuring a presentation followed by Q&A and discussion.
Participation has ranged from 15-75 people, including CCDS members and friends.
The monthly discussions have provided an opportunity for left unity work.
Participants have included not only members of CCDS, but also Liberation Road
(Freedom Road Socialist Organization), DSA, CPUSA, Left Roots supporters,
Organizing Upgrade, Inside/Outside initiative, Green Party, Progressive
Democrats, Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom, United for
Peace and Justice, as well as labor organizations.
In 2020, the February program for black history month was organized by the
Democracy Project on the life of Jack O’Dell in the struggle against racism. Bill
Fletcher facilitated this discussion. Also co-sponsored with Liberation Road were
programs during the pandemic entitled, “Elections 2020: Covid 19, the Left and
the uprising against racist violence,” and “Race and Mass Incarceration in the time
of Covid-19,” as well as “New Political Openings in the time of Covid-19.” Work
with LR introduced different participatory formats for presentations and
discussion.
The September 2020 SEP program features Pem Davidson Buck, author of the
book, “The Punishment Monopoly: Tales of My Ancestors, Dispossession, and the
Building of the United States.” She also wrote, “Worked to the Bone: Race, Class,
Power and Privilege in Kentucky”
I. Publications, books
