Big Dog Ranch Rescue said the January 9 rescue followed a tip on December 29 about extreme cruelty at Giant German Shepherd Ranch in Hopkins County, owned by Kristine Hicks. The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent who fatally shot Renee Good last week in Minneapolis, Jonathan Ross, suffered internal bleeding to the torso following the incident, according to two U.S. officials briefed on his medical condition. It was unclear how extensive the bleeding was. The Department of Homeland Security confirmed Ross' injury, but has not yet responded to CBS News' requests for more information. FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - On Tuesday, officers responded to the Palms of Emerald Coast Massage Parlor due to a report of a battery on a Department of Health (DOH) employee. According to the Fort Walton Beach Police Department, the DOH employee was conducting a routine inspection when Fang Wang, a massage parlor employee, became upset and started yelling at the inspector. Progress in the fight to throttle back inflation appeared to stall in December amid price pressures from groceries, dining out, utility gas, clothing and other categories of consumer spending. The consumer price index, a key inflation gauge, rose 2.7% in December from 12 months earlier, the Bureau of Labor Statistics said Tuesday.
