MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Conflict between law enforcement and activists erupted outside an Orange Mound restaurant Sunday evening after a group of National Guard members was asked to leave the property.
The Memphis Police Department was at the scene Sunday night, along with dozens of Memphis Safe Task Force members, outside Da Sammich Spot on Park Avenue, which has a posted sign banning ICE agents.
Video shared by one of the activists protesting the National Guard’s presence showed National Guard troops standing by the sidewalk after being asked to leave the property before more reinforcements arrived, bringing dozens of National Guard and Memphis Safe Task Force members to the scene.
Tyler Foster with Memphis Interfaith Coalition for Action and Hope said the restaurant owner has been outspoken against the Memphis Safe Task Force and argues the owner had every right to ask them to leave.

What is a Resource Hub? See the store’s sign.

Yes, the half with money.
Remain around the joint and see how many customers decide to go elsewhere. Again, daily until joint closes up in bankruptcy.
on being open long enough to want to pay for a real sign.

When I see National Guard at a restaurant …
… I pay for their dinner and leave before they know it.
“Looks like a front for a criminal organization or a fence for stolen goods.”
Meth lab in the back. Like the laundry in Breaking Bad.
No self respecting National Guard soldier would ever even consider eating at a sh!t trough like that, regardless.
The whole thing smells like a setup.
A garden spot, I dare say.
Same sign seen in a McDonalds thread earlier today.
What a dump.
