GENEVA -- U.S. President Donald Trump will return to the World Economic Forum's annual meeting of business, political and cultural elites in Davos, Switzerland next week, leading a record-large U.S. delegation, organizers said Tuesday.
The Geneva-based think tank says Trump, whose assertive foreign policy on issues as diverse as Venezuela and Greenland in recent months has stirred concerns among U.S. friends and foes alike, will be accompanied by five Cabinet secretaries and other top officials for the event running from Monday through Jan. 23.
A total of 850 CEOs and chairs of the world's top companies will be among the 3,000 participants from 130 countries expected in the Alpine resort this year, the forum says.
Forum President Borge Brende says six of seven G-7 leaders — including Trump — will attend, as well as presidents Volodymyr Zelenskky of Ukraine, Ahmad al-Sharaa of Syria and others. A total of 64 heads of state or government are expected so far — also a record — though that number could increase before the start of the event, he said.
China's delegation will be headed by Vice Premier He Lifeng, Beijing's top trade official, Brende said.

I am not in favor of the United States participation in anything to do with the World Economic Forum. They are the ultimate Non Governmental Organization.
I expect this to be very entertaining.
IMO, the UK, France, and Germany are failed states. Which basically means the EU is a failure. Aside from Eastern Europe, that whole continent needs a good bitch slap.
Heart of the Beast. This will be fun.
I don’t like Trump going anywhere outside the US. The whole world is against him and us.
I guess Marco will also be running the WEF after next week! ;-)
I am not either. In fact, they are an enemy of traditional, conservative USA. They give aid and comfort to our domestic Neo-marxists and their allies in the DC deep state.
But in this case, I believe Trump has something planned - a public punch in the face. Let's wait and see.
That group of globalists is filthy to the core. It’s treason for an American to legitimize that unelected group.

I think Trump is going over there to tell it like it is.
Milei certainly gut punched them last time!
Hopefully he’ll go all Andrew Jackson on them...
You are a den of vipers and thieves. I have determined to rout you out, and by the Eternal, (bringing his fist down on the table) I will rout you out!”
Nothing WEF does one thing for Americans. If he had any judgement or loyalty to MAGA he would freeze them out and not treat them as a legitimate group. Furthermore he should announce that any American who attends is a foreign lobbyist and must register.
He’s going to give them some scalding speech, and that does nothing for America. Waste of time and money. No telling what we pay to go.
If the USA is going to go, I’m in favor of Trump going to personally throw some turds in the punch bowl, so to speak.
One of these days, he'll run for President just to get a relaxing break from all the work ...
Political leaders go there and give a big punch in the face speech. It’s meaningless. What they are really doing is going to visit the globalist King in their palace. They couldn’t care less what kind of speech you give, as long as you genuflect and attend the globalist Royal Court.
If he was really Maga, he would make an announcement what they thought doesn’t matter to him. And that any CEO or organization that attends is on his suspect list and shouldn’t count on doing any business with US government.
What he should do is call attention to how many prostitutes and whores in Europe flood in to Davos. He should point out that those a holes are eating, the finest beef when they think normal people should stop eating beef.. i’d rather see him make an announcement that anyone who attends Davos cannot expect to meet with him for the rest of his administration.
But he can’t do that kind of thing because people might ask questions about the Epstein spy ring.
Indeed.
Trump did this only weeks after his inauguration. Granted, he didn't "declare war" but he said things like "the green new deal is dead," and that America will set its own financial and interest rate policies

I expect him to go further this time. There will be clear statements on Greenland, on EU censorship, and maybe even cultural issues, like unchecked migration.
