Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s newly instated radical-left tenant advocate, Cea Weaver, broke down Wednesday as she dodged questions from reporters about her gentrification hypocrisy. The 37-year-old, who has faced backlash for blasting homeownership as a “weapon of white supremacy” in the past, teared up when she emerged briefly from her apartment building in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, at about 9 a.m. Weaver, who was tapped by Mamdani to be his new director of the city Office to Protect Tenants, quickly ran back inside after she was asked about the $1.6 million home her mother owns in Nashville, Tennessee.

U.S. — Experts are now recommending parents limit their children to just four hours of brain-rotting slop each day to better prepare them for the future. Pediatricians are encouraging parents to limit the time their kids spend staring blankly at putrid, worthless garbage on a tablet or phone screen. "Children are our future, and our future is looking very dim," said Dr. Heinlen Reynolds of the AAP. "That's why it's imperative you cut out the brain rot they consume by at least half. Limit it to 3 or 4 hours, tops. But don't worry, no one expects you to...

Here we go again. Yet another violent transgender creep has been arrested for political violence. There’s a definite pattern here, and the left and their media buddies keep pretending it doesn’t exist. Think about it, these incidents involve a very small group of mentally ill people, yet they are stacking up violent and even deadly attacks month after month, and nobody on the left wants to talk about it. The fake news would rather lecture about pronouns than talk about hammers, broken glass, bullets flying, and right-wing politicians being targeted. Meanwhile, the media and the left are still pushing the...

China is livid, and they’re not hiding it. After Trump announced the U.S. will refine and sell up to 50 million barrels of Venezuelan oil previously frozen under sanctions, Beijing fired back, calling the move a blatant power grab and a direct hit on their interests. Why? Because that oil wasn’t just sitting there, China had already paid for a big chunk of it, through loan-for-oil deals and state-backed agreements with Maduro’s regime. Trump’s plan? Ignore all that, break the blockade, grab the barrels, and reroute them to U.S. refineries. The pitch: American energy security, because the U.S. is in...

[Catholic Caucus] Bishop Barron criticizes ‘synodality’ and ‘Spirit of Vatican II’ in new statementBp. Barron cautioned that turning ‘synodality' into an ongoing state of the Church risks endless ‘suspense’ and undermines her essential mission of worship, evangelization, and service. Bishop Robert Barron has said that synodality, which questions settled doctrine, must not become a “permanent feature of the Church.”In a statement published on January 6 on X, the bishop of Winona-Rochester in southern Minnesota said, “I understand that one of the topics under consideration at the Consistory of Cardinals is synodality. Daily Readings from the USCCB“Take courage, it is I, do not be afraid!” He got into the boat with them and the wind died down. They were completely astounded. They had not understood the incident of the loaves. On the contrary, their hearts were hardened. Mark 6:50–52When Jesus appeared to the Apostles, walking on the sea, they were filled with fear. His words to them are the same words He speaks to us: “Take courage, it is I, do not be afraid!” We need to hear those words more often than we realize. Many things in life can cause us...

You know how the Somali childcare fraud has been a big thing, kind of an open secret in Minnesota for years now? Well, not only has this been happening for at least a decade, but, according to this report, the state has known about it for at least that long. Check out these receipts from Maze on X detailing a nine-year-old investigation into the fraud at Minnesota's Child Care Assistance Program -- an investigation that went nowhere. The Minnesota child care fraud saga is so strange because years ago it was fully investigated, documented, and reported on by a team...

The U.S. on Wednesday seized a rogue Russian-flagged tanker linked to Venezuelan oil in the North Atlantic Sea. Pro-life activists and groups are taking issue with President Donald Trump's remarks to Republican lawmakers to be "flexible" on a law that bans the use of federal funds for most abortions as health care talks continue in Congress. "Any healthcare plan that prioritizes a ‘deal’ over saving lives — in and out of the womb — deserves to die, not children," Students for Life Action President Kristan Hawkins said in a statement Tuesday following Trump's address. "Republicans need to fix what the Democrats profoundly broke. Former President Barack Obama destroyed the American healthcare system with Obamacare, driving up costs and...

It was likely one of the last pieces of city policy passed that winter, just before the New Year, a parting gift from a progressive city council. On December 30, 1975, Minneapolis became the first city to adopt a trans-inclusive LGBTQ+ non-discrimination ordinance. Fifty years later, the United States still lacks similar protections on a federal level.
