Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s newly instated radical-left tenant advocate, Cea Weaver, broke down Wednesday as she dodged questions from reporters about her gentrification hypocrisy.
The 37-year-old, who has faced backlash for blasting homeownership as a “weapon of white supremacy” in the past, teared up when she emerged briefly from her apartment building in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, at about 9 a.m.
Weaver, who was tapped by Mamdani to be his new director of the city Office to Protect Tenants, quickly ran back inside after she was asked about the $1.6 million home her mother owns in Nashville, Tennessee.

No insult to these types of folks is sufficient. We can, however, know that none of them has had, has now, or will have the ability to create anything useful for a civilized world. (They’d fit in quite nicely with Islam, though.)

It seems like the nastier and more strident these liberals are in their beliefs, the more fragile they are when they or their beliefs are questioned. And this is what Mamdani hires to be in charge of housing for the largest city in the country. A woman who cries when she is questioned.
I wonder how much a $1.6 million house in Nashville would cost in a comparable neighborhood in New York City
I actually believe her remarks as a municipal official violated the Civil Rights Act of 1964, advocating denial of rights under color of law.
