Good news for Southern California house hunters: estimated values of three-quarters of local homes have fallen in the past year... Most widespread drop was in Los Angeles and Orange counties, where 79% of homes experienced a value decline. That’s the 14th-highest among the 50 metros tracked. The items were buried together some 3,300 years ago, possibly by the Canaanites. Researchers from the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) said that the vessel was likely used to pour a valuable liquid such as milk, oil, or wine into someone's mouth or a smaller vessel to be consumed, or poured out as a religious offering. Storage jars,...

When Obama administration officials manufactured U.S. intelligence tying Donald Trump to Moscow following his stunning 2016 victory, they had no idea Trump’s own political appointees would help them undermine Trump’s presidency – and his chances of reelection in 2020. RCI’s review of recently declassified documents and exclusive interviews with former Trump officials reveals for the first time how key members of Trump’s cabinet and other appointees during his first term shrouded the previous administration’s machinations and either deliberately or inadvertently misled the public into thinking the fake Russiagate intelligence was real. Former Special Counsel John Durham, former National Security Adviser...

Good question. Maybe the inflation of the Biden Regency has impacted the prices of political campaigns? Of course, Republicans don't seem to have the same issues with donors as Democrats. Nor do they have the same leftover bills that Kamala Harris left the DNC, either. DNC chair Ken Martin paints the move to tap credit as a sign of investment, but the New York Times doesn't quite buy it:The Democratic National Committee took out a $15 million loan last month to replenish its shrunken coffers before elections in Virginia and New Jersey and to keep operations fully funded entering 2026,...

A study has explored whether adding branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) to an exercise program could improve outcomes for older adults. In a small, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, the team found that BCAA supplementation improved performance, reduced fatigue, and alleviated depression symptoms for many participants. His research focuses on how inflammation impairs central nervous system function. BCAAs—leucine, isoleucine, and valine—are essential amino acids that not only serve as the building blocks of protein and muscle but also appear to play specific roles in inflammation and brain health. "Through supplementation, we thought perhaps we could restore balance and reduce the burden of...

Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA-14) is leaving Congress. The outspoken Republican, who has been at odds with her party and President Donald Trump in recent weeks, made the announcement on Friday night, expressing her frustration with the national debt and the recent government shutdown. "I ran for Congress in 2020 and have fought every single day believing that Make America Great Again meant America First," she wrote in a letter she made public Friday evening. Two momentous things come together as the New Year approaches. The first is the 250th anniversary of the greatest document in political history, the Declaration of Independence. The second is the national firestorm that rages over its meaning. Trump The first of the contrary winds fueling our national firestorm is Donald Trump, who has closed out his first whirlwind year. Crime is down in several cities where he sent the National Guard. The economy is doing pretty well, and predictions are that it will continue, decline, or quicken (I think it will fluctuate). The stock market is high, and the...

WASHINGTON (AP) — Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, a loyal supporter-turned-critic of President Donald Trump who faced his political retribution if she sought reelection, said Friday she is resigning from Congress in January. Greene, in a more than 10-minute video posted online, explained her decision and said she didn’t want her congressional district “to have to endure a hurtful and hateful primary against me by the president we all fought for,” she said. The opening in her district means Republican Gov. Brian Kemp will have to set a special election date within 10 days of Greene’s resignation. Such a...

In his second term, President Donald Trump certainly hasn’t been afraid to go bold — and now it could be the stock market’s turn. The slate of reforms under consideration could be the biggest positive development for our financial markets since the early days of the Reagan administration, if not since the creation of the federal securities laws themselves. It could also finally put the brakes on the rise of “woke capital.” For years, political activists have been using America’s biggest corporations as vehicles for their social agenda. They call it “ESG” — environmental, social and governance investing — but...

Sir Keir Starmer is set to meet Ukraine’s allies at the Johannesburg G20 summit on Saturday to seek to “strengthen” a US-drafted plan to end the war with Russia. Washington reportedly pressed Kyiv to accept the agreement which would see the invaded country make major concessions including giving up territory and cutting the size of its army. Western nations are scrambling to respond to the proposals that appeared to catch them off guard. G7 leaders plus others from the G20 will discuss the deal on the sidelines of the South African meeting shunned by Donald Trump. The 28-point plan is...
