Lesbian women using their partner’s egg in IVF may face higher medical risks, research suggests. The study, the first of its kind, found that such women may have a greater chance of complications such as pre-eclampsia and gestational diabetes. Co-IVF, also known as reciprocal IVF, is an option for lesbians and trans men who want to start a family. Embryos are created from the egg of one partner and donor sperm before being implanted into the second partner to carry the pregnancy.

The billionaire heiress who recently donated $250,000 to a super PAC supporting socialist Zohran Mamdani’s NYC mayoral campaign is bankrolling a national push to bring “woke math” into public schools — a twisted bid to turn kids into socialist revolutionaries, critics told The Post. Philanthropist Liz Simons, daughter of late hedge-fund billionaire Jim Simons, oversees a foundation with a near-billion-dollar endowment trashing traditional race-neutral math in favor of race-obsessed leftist lessons inserting social justice principles into many aspects of students’ studies. This approach, embraced in states like California but rejected in Florida, include thrusting racial and LGBTQ themes into previously straightforward...

Newsweek has contacted The Heritage Foundation, via email, for comment.

There is a lot on chest thumping and harrumphing going on right now about what RFK Jr is doing at HHS. He testified before a Senate committee yesterday and handily whacked the opposition, bringing up some truly valid points. We've been lied to repeatedly: First, RFK Jr. broke down the TRUTH about Pharma’s Covid-19 coverup: “We were lied to about everything.” Democrats accused him of “politicizing” HHS—but he exposed that EVERYTHING about Pharma’s Covid narrative was a lie. “The whole process was politicized.” “We were lied to about natural immunity.” “We were told again and again the vaccines would prevent...

Former Harvard Medical School professor Curtis L. Cetrulo was sued for medical malpractice in July by two transgender patients who allege their phalloplasties were botched at Massachusetts General Hospital. The plaintiffs, who filed separate suits anonymously, both reported complications after Cetrulo performed surgeries in 2021 and 2022 to construct their penises using abdominal tissue. They argue the procedures, performed as part of gender affirming care, were too experimental and that Cetrulo had not informed them of the possible risks.

By some strange coincidence, no sooner did I write yesterday’s post about the thoroughly corrupt CDC and its recently-fired Director, Susan Monarez, than there turns up in today’s Wall Street Journal an op-ed by the same Ms. Monarez trying to justify herself and the agency with regard to HHS Secretary RFK, Jr. The headline is “Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the CDC and Me.” The sub-headline (online edition only) is “I was fired after 29 days because I held the line and insisted on rigorous scientific review.” The article is behind the Journal’s paywall, so I will provide some substantial quotes....

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker recently appeared on MSNBC with Jen Psaki, the former White House press secretary for Joe Biden and pushed conspiracy theories about President Trump with zero pushback from the host. Pritzker claimed that Trump does not want to send National Guard troops to Chicago to help deal with crime or even to help ICE arrest illegal aliens, but because he wants to ‘set the stage to interfere in future elections.’

Fourth Turnings never fizzle out. They build to a crescendo of death and destruction. Is there any indications whatsoever that we are not on a course towards all-out war? 🇷🇺🇺🇦🇬🇧 Dmitry Medvedev: “The United Kingdom has sent Ukraine $1.3 billion obtained as profit from the use of frozen Russian assets. This was said by the English idiot Lammy. Well, this means one thing: British thieves have handed over Russian money to the neo-Nazis. The Durham City Council passed the resolution on Tuesday with a unanimous vote to shield city workers against raids and arrests carried out by federal officials, according to The Duke Chronicle. The Fourth Amendment protects citizens against unreasonable searches and arrests, and requires warrants with probable cause of a crime before seizing a person or property. The resolution instructs city staff to "uphold the 4th amendment at their workplace and city...

President Trump fired the Bureau of Labor Statistics commissioner last month because he didn’t like the monthly jobs numbers. He claimed the numbers were “rigged.” But Friday’s monthly report for August confirms that job creation has stalled amid his tariff barrage. Employers added a mere 22,000 jobs last month while the numbers were revised down for the previous two by a combined 21,000. This means only 107,000 new jobs were created in the last four months—an average of 27,000. Monthly job gains averaged 167,000 last year. Nearly all of the new jobs last month were in social assistance and healthcare...

Daily Readings from the USCCB“The Son of Man is lord of the sabbath.” Luke 6:5This short yet powerful statement by Jesus was spoken in response to the Pharisees who questioned Jesus as to why His disciples were apparently doing what was unlawful on the sabbath. They were walking through a field of grain, picking grain as they walked, and eating it for nourishment on their journey from one town to another. This challenge from the Pharisees highlights their scrupulous approach to the moral law. Recall the Third Commandment given through Moses: “Remember the sabbath day—keep it holy. Six days you...

"We are the sickest country in the world. That's why we have to fire people at the CDC ... They did not do their job! This was their job to keep us healthy!" —Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. What a gruesome spectacle it was to see HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. take on a conclave of vicious grifters on the Senate Finance Committee straining to warp reality in defense of their mighty patron, the nation-wrecking pharmaceutical companies. Do you understand how deep, convoluted, and grave the political sickness is? Over the years, the public health agencies and “big pharma” had...
