CARMICHAEL, Calif. — The third man killed during an apparent attempted robbery Sunday in Carmichael has been identified.
Jonathan Derek Bush, 21, of Antelope, was found shot to death around 7 a.m. inside the Lance Apartments complex on El Camino Avenue, per the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
The other two also found dead were identified earlier this week as Zavion Larue Dorsey, 22, of Rancho Cordova, and 24-year-old Wayne Douglas Doerr.
A fourth man and complex resident, 18-year-old Jaylen Davis, was detained at the scene, per the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
One man was allegedly being robbed by two men when one of the two armed robbers shot and killed him, deputies said. Davis then allegedly fired a gun, killing both of the armed robbers, according to the sheriff’s office.
Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Amar Gandhi told ABC10 on Wednesday deputies will not yet say who of the three men killed is believed to be which party. Davis was arrested but isn’t accused of murder
A witness independently corroborated the shooting’s events, and detectives said what happened did not constitute filing a murder charge against Davis after consulting with the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office.
Each of those killed were found with firearms next to them; all four men were allegedly armed illegally with handguns due to prior felony convictions, the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies arrested Davis on suspicion of illegal firearm possession. He reportedly wore an ankle monitor and was on probation.
His next Sacramento County Superior Court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 11.
for should be four.
Moar gun laws!!
😂😂😂😂
Not a well thought out plan when 1 of them decides to kill them all and let God sort them out.
Zavion is one of those names that helps to describe the person.
Whichever felon was being robbed seems to have had a good reason to be armed.
So is Glocktavious
All of them were probably felons.

I’m guessing that since 3 thugs were killed the law says ‘OK’! Nothing to see here. Move along. lol
The Lance Apartments never should have put up the “Welcome Felons!” billboard.
Since the fourth is eighteen years old, he can be charged with three counts of murder under the Felony Murder Rule.
"What are you in for?"
~"Three murders."
"You murdered three guys?
~"No but technically yes. Three of my homeboys in a home invasion got wasted by the victim. I'm charged with their deaths."
It appears the authorities are not going to charge him with murder, but are likely to charge him with illegal possession of a firearm by a felon.
I think it might be them again Yogi. Can anybody confirm?
