Lesbian women using their partner’s egg in IVF may face higher medical risks, research suggests.

The study, the first of its kind, found that such women may have a greater chance of complications such as pre-eclampsia and gestational diabetes.

Co-IVF, also known as reciprocal IVF, is an option for lesbians and trans men who want to start a family. Embryos are created from the egg of one partner and donor sperm before being implanted into the second partner to carry the pregnancy.

I need a diagram to even figure out what the hell these freaks are talking about.

It’s almost as if women were designed to carry their own eggs and make babies in their own bodies. I’m so old fashioned.

If I understand it correctly, this process is the normal IVF process, but after the baby is created there's an extra process to transplant the growing baby from the first woman into the second woman. I think the idea is for the two gay women to be able to say that they made the baby together.

But it adds an extra and unnecessary surgical procedure for the women and it also adds a transplant process for the baby. All so they can pretend that their gay lifestyle is has some more believe similarity to a heterosexual lifestyle.

How’s this a different risk than a surrogate holding the egg from the wife and husband?

Switching ovens doesn’t change the bread’s ingredients. Can’t get much stupider/more delusional than these people are. However, the doctors aren’t delusional, they’re downright greedy and should have their licenses pulled for malpractice.

No, but switching from electric to gas could change the outcome.

Unlike the “lesbians” seen in pornography, real-life lesbians are, on average, less healthy — i.e., fatter, less active — and often older than their “cis” counterparts. Pregnancy complications like pre-eclampsia and diabetes are the result.

Probably similar risk, except lesbians represent higher overall health risks due to their lifestyle and mental disorder.
