The point of gay marriage from the viewpoint of liberal social engineers is to desecrate the concept of holy matrimony and to render it ludicrous so that it can no longer serve as the backbone of civilization. Progressives continue to progress on this front: The president of Whitman College late last month presided over the marriage between a senior at the school and her Whitman alum “wusband.” The “wusband” is the one who wears the pants in a lesbian parody of a family. President Sarah Bolton officiated the nuptials of Lita Bacus and “nonbinary lesbian” Fi Black at which “I...

As a place on a map, Bohemia is roughly half of what we call the Czech Republic today. As a neighbourhood or a state of mind it can be found all over the world, in big cities, where it suddenly coalesces in insalubrious districts, flourishes briefly, raises the value of the real estate and then dies off in a flurry of media coverage regretting how these things never last. When a Bohemia dies it usually leaves behind a few architectural remnants, a historical plaque or two, maybe even a museum, and a venerable and overpriced tourist trap like a café...

US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is under scrutiny following her initial refusal to condemn the recent murder of two Israeli Embassy staffers in Washington, D.C. The victims, Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, were fatally shot outside the Capital Jewish Museum on May 21. When approached by reporters for comment, Omar declined, stating, "I'm going to go for now." Later that day, Omar posted on social media expressing that she was "appalled" by the shooting and extended thoughts and prayers to the victims' families. However, critics argue that her response lacked a direct condemnation of the attack. White House Press Secretary...

Daily Readings from the USCCBJesus said to his disciples: “Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our dwelling with him. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words; yet the word you hear is not mine but that of the Father who sent me.” John 14:23–24The Father and the Son are One. Their unity is perfect in every way. They share one divine nature. Yet they are distinct Persons. They are not only perfectly united as One God, they are also able to be...

Prominent British anti-Islam activist Stephen Yaxley-Lennon has been charged with harassment causing fear of violence to two men around the time of the nationwide riots last year, prosecutors said on Wednesday. Yaxley-Lennon, known as Tommy Robinson, is currently in prison over a separate contempt of court issue but is due to be released next week after winning a bid on Tuesday to trim the 18-month sentence. The CPS said the...

@RandPaul Only in Washington does a “budget” mean spending more. [Video linked in Tweet] Paraphrasing/Notes: I supported the tax cuts. I support making them permanent I support spending cuts even though they're wimpy [in the bill]. The problem is the math doesn't add up. They're exploding the debt... The deficit will be $2.2 trillion. We used to say that's Biden spending, Biden-omics. There has to be someone left in Washington that says debts and deficits are Wrong. This is just not a serious proposal. Regarding the 'free' stuff (Medicare, Medicaid and SNAP), we're borrowing the money, which means more inflation....

In secret labs all over the planet, researchers are playing around with the deadliest diseases that humanity has ever known. In some cases, the goal is to make those diseases even more deadly and even easier to spread. If a terrorist organization or one of our enemies really wanted to create complete and utter chaos in our society, releasing a weaponized disease in a heavily populated area would be one of the easiest ways to do that. A bomb could kill hundreds or even thousands of people, but a highly infectious pestilence could spread like wildfire all over the country...

NATO scrambled its war planes today in self defence amid Vladimir Putin’s heaviest strikes on Ukraine in months, leading to multiple civilian deaths including three children. Russia was also hit hard with Ukrainian strikes, leading to the Kremlin’s air defences firing in panic - but missing - an Airbus A320-251N packed with its own tourists from Turkish resort Bodrum, according to reports. At least 10 Russian government aircraft used for high-ranking state and military officials fled Moscow flying east. It was not immediately clear if the exodus was a drill for an emergency evacuation or the real thing amid an...

Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that there were “enough” Republican senators who would not vote for the so-called “big, beautiful” spending bill without significant changes. Host Jake Tapper said, “How determined are you to be that guy if it actually means telling President Trump you are going to vote against the bill and you’re going to try to get other Republican senators to join you, unless there are major, major changes?” Johnson said, “Well, in 2010, I sprang out of the Tea Party movement and as I did parades I would shout, this...

"It actually (found itself – ed.) in the epicenter of repelling a massive attack by enemy drones. We simultaneously conducted an anti-aircraft battle and ensured the safety of the president's helicopter in the air," said the commander of the air defense division, Yuri Dashkin. The events took place during Vladimir Putin's trip to the Kursk region earlier this week. According to Dashkin, the president was on board the helicopter during the drone attack.

Special Dispatches to the New-York Times. WASHINGTON, Wednesday, May 24 -- 8 P.M. The great display is over. SHERMAN's two armies -- the most superb material over molded into soldiers -- has passed in review through the streets of the capital, of which they have heard so much, and toward the safety of which they have done so much, and yet had never seen. The men who marched from the Ohio to the Tennessee under BUELL, only to march back again; who first penetrated down into Alabama under the daring and nervous MITCHELL; who fought at Perrysville under MCCOOK, and...

This is an X video as of 052525. https://x.com/i/status/1926403856700678196 The date may be different but I wondered who the patriot front really was. During the election it looked like a fake group to try and discredit Trump and Conservatives. The leader might have done interviews but I never saw a clear description of them. Any Freepers know the accurate skinny on this group?

Ex-Obama aide and “Pod Save America” co-host Jon Lovett admitted on Jon Stewart’s “The Weekly Show” podcast that he withheld his concerns about President Joe Biden’s physical decline during the 2024 campaign. Lovett told Stewart and his fellow “Pod Save America” host Jon Favreau that he didn’t want to publicly voice his concern over Biden’s declining health because he wanted him “to f—— win.” “I remember feeling I want to talk about this as a huge liability. To talk about this is something Joe Biden can overcome, but I’m not going to go so far as to say, ‘I think...

Former Sex Pistols frontman John Lydon is a Donald Trump fan, even though he doesn’t necessarily like the man. But he appreciates that Trump is taking a “wrecking ball” to the “broken government.” Lydon often voices his support for Trump, but in a interview with The Telegraph, he also says that one does not have to like Trump as a person to support what the president is doing in the White House. The punker told the paper that he “instinctively” hates all politicians. But he still has a soft spot for Trump, whom he calls the “the Orange Bad Man”...

The president didn’t travel all that way for photo ops. But here’s the greatness that most analysts have missed. President Trump’s recent trip to the Middle East was groundbreaking on many levels: economic, diplomatic, and strategic. In each of the countries he visited, he was greeted warmly by all the highest-ranking officials. He lined up billions in economic agreements with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. However, Trump didn’t travel all that way for photo ops. Although the economic agreements are important, his boldest move was meeting with the new Syrian president Ahmed al-Sharaa and the agreement to...
