Former Sex Pistols frontman John Lydon is a Donald Trump fan, even though he doesn’t necessarily like the man. But he appreciates that Trump is taking a “wrecking ball” to the “broken government.”
Lydon often voices his support for Trump, but in a interview with The Telegraph, he also says that one does not have to like Trump as a person to support what the president is doing in the White House.
The punker told the paper that he “instinctively” hates all politicians. But he still has a soft spot for Trump, whom he calls the “the Orange Bad Man” and a “wrecking ball.”
“Frankly, the business of government is broken, and it needs smashing up and being reconstituted,” Lydon said of the U.S. government and Trump’s efforts to fix it all.
“And as ugly and horrible and vile as that man is, he’s also incredibly funny, and there’s an irony in his humor that is lacking in the reporting here [in the UK],” he told the British periodical.
“You have to live in America to understand how this man touches the hearts of working-class people. He talks our lingo, and we like it,” he explained.
Lydon also called bollocks on the far-left’s absurd claims that Donald Trump is somehow a “fascist.”
The rocker said that “there’s nothing about the Orange Bad Man that is about goose stepping. You don’t have to like the c–t. In fact, it helps if you don’t have any view on him at all. Solve the problem, and then f–k off!”
He added that he has no fears at all that Trump intends to stay in office past his second four-year term.

God Save the man from Queens..
The Democrats are the Fascist Regime.
👍
It’s not that government is broken, government is corrupt. When the Constitution was adopted, men were more virtuous.
Someone who can separate personality from policies?
“ The Democrats are the Fascist Regime.”
That has been obvious since the mid-90s. The damned detestable Bushes were right there too.
Even in the days of the Founders there were plenty of con artists and charlatans out there among the population.
However the limited government did not have that much power or money so it was less of an attraction for sociopaths.
He’s got mental skills and his emotions under control.
Unlike just about everyone else today.
The few in government who aren’t sociopaths are psychopaths.
Is he dyslexic?
He was also with (PIL) Public Image Limited. A;K.A. Johnny Rotten
Had a beer or two with him in KCMO after he played Liberty Hall. Hell of a smart guy and fun as hell.
And people thought I was overreacting when 0zoma was installed as potus. Not so much now.
Their album, “Album,” is one of the best rock albums ever.

In a departure from their previous releases, John Lydon was advised by trusted music producer Bill Laswell to take on an all-star cast of session and trusted musicians, including Steve Vai, Ginger Baker, Bernie Worrell, Tony Williams, Ryuichi Sakamoto of the Yellow Magic Orchestra and Malachi Favors of the Art Ensemble Of Chicago.
If so, everyone should be dyslexic.
Didn’t expect that from him, but ok.
He gets it.
Just like many Christians have gotten it. The guy might not be a super Christian and use foul language, but when it comes to making policies, he has done MORE for Christians than Bush W. who flaunted his Christianity.
Trunp has done more for Christians than Clinton who made sure to have his picture taken in a church the night before the elections while on the campaign trial...
Sometimes, God has people do his work that you would never expect. But then again, that’s the whole moral of the story with all 12 of the apostles.
Not that Trump is a saint, but he has done a tremendous amount for Christians and our values. Despite being from a city, a liberal state, being college educated, a ruthless businessman, it’s he that has pushed back on abortion, LGBTQIA, acted on behalf of Christians internationally, removed the IRS tax threat and allowed the clergy to express their opinions...
As a head-banging heavy-metal reject teen in the 1980’s, It is ironic that many of my old thrashing burnout buddies generally turned out okay and our rebel and reject society mentality of the time actually made most of us out to be somewhat on the conservative side of things 40 years later.
Most of the preppy, follow the one-hit-wonders popular kids, well they are the white suburban karen liberals we all loathe today.
i should write a book!
“And as ugly and horrible and vile as that man is...”
So what exactly is so ugly, horrible and vile about the man? He spends the rest of the article praising Trump but Trump’s still ugly, horrible and vile? Sounds pretty cowardly to me. He reminds me of your typical mainstream journalist or celebrity who feels the need to balance anything positive he says about Trump with something negative so he can still be one of the cool kids.
