Pope Leo XIV on Wednesday hailed Christian communities in the Middle East who “persevere and remain in their homelands, resisting the temptation to abandon them” despite war, marginalization or persecution. “Christians must be given the opportunity, and not just in words, to remain in their native lands with all the rights needed for a secure existence. Please, let us strive for this!” he told a meeting of Eastern Catholic Churches at the Vatican. On Sunday, the pontiff called for an "authentic and lasting peace" in Ukraine, a ceasefire in Gaza, the release of all Israeli hostages held by militant group...

“‘“Our Father who is in heaven . . .”’” (Matthew 6:9). Only those who have come to God through Christ can call God “Father.” He is the Father of unbelievers only in that He created them (cf. Mal. 2:10; Acts 17:28). It is only those who trust Jesus who have “the right to become children of God” (John 1:12; cf. Rom. 8:14; Gal. 3:26). In the Old Testament, faithful Jews saw God as the Father of Israel, the nation He elected as His special people. Isaiah proclaimed, “You, O Lord, are our Father, our Redeemer from of old is Your...

"It could only be reached if President Trump continues his peaceful initiative," the premier addedBUDAPEST, May 17. /TASS/. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban believes that the agreement on settlement of the conflict in Ukraine can only be reached as a result of a meeting between Russian and US presidents, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. Negotiations between Moscow and Kiev will be insufficient, he said. "This will not work out. If you hope that Russians and Ukrainians will reach an agreement, you are mistaken. Over the past three years it could have happened any day, but it never happened. I conducted...

As Shilo Sanders' federal bankruptcy case heats up, the judge made a key ruling in the case this week. Bankruptcy Judge Michael E. Romero granted a request for subpoenas, saying that the court found “good cause” for them before trial. This will allow Sanders' creditor, John Darjean, a former security guard at Shilo’s former high school in Dallas, the ability to obtain records from third-party sources related to an incident between him and Sanders in 2015. Shilo was 15 years old when the incident with Darjean occurred. Sanders, who is now 25, was signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with...

The Secret Service may try to force former FBI Director James Comey to answer pointed questions into a social media post he issued depicting an image of “8647,” but a U.S. attorney whom President Trump appointed will determine whether to prosecute Comey over the post. If Comey refuses to comply with their request for what’s known as a protective intelligence interview, the Secret Service leading the investigation into the Instagram post can apply for a subpoena through an assistant U.S. attorney.

Woke may be dying, but history warns: every collapse of the left births a new epoch—often more radical than the last. The other day, The Wall Street Journal published an op-ed by Eric Kaufmann, a professor of politics at the University of Buckingham in England, proclaiming the death of woke and the end of the Progressive Era. This is more than a “vibe-shift,” Kaufmann writes; it’s “the end of the 60-year rise of left-liberalism in American culture.” He continues, arguing that the backlash against the left’s aggressive embrace of identity politics and its imposition of that politics on every aspect...

A new documentary has uncovered that Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, and Prince Charles received private briefings on the connection between UFOs and Crop Circles from leading researcher Colin Andrews. The revelation comes as a newly formed group, the UK Disclosure Group, calls on Labour leader Keir Starmer to declassify the UK’s hidden UFO files. The documentary, “The King of UFOs,” set to premiere on May 19th in Soho, London, during the UK Disclosure Group’s launch, presents evidence that the royal family took the UFO phenomenon seriously. According to the film, Prince Philip collected military UFO reports and invited experts...

They've tut-tutted about violence for decades. They've smeared their political opponents as violent, setting up whole government units to investigate them in the military, as well as throw the book at those caught up in the crowds on Jan. 6, 2021 as violent. Now they're presented with James Comey, who's one of their own, issuing his own version of death threats against President Trump with his '86 47' post, cutesily spelled out in shells and stones on supposedly a beach, and I have not been able to find so much as one Democrat to express reservations about it. Where's Chuck...

Former Minnesota Vikings and University of Minnesota football player Jack Brewer shared a grievance with Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison. The AG is waging a legal battle against President Donald Trump and the Department of Justice to ensure transgender athletes can continue participating in girls sports in the state. The state's ongoing defiance of Trump's executive order to keep girls sports female has resulted in a controversy involving a transgender pitcher who has dominated a girls softball season. "Clearly, Keith Ellison, the attorney general of Minnesota, has never played any major sports," Brewer told Fox News Digital. "It’s like he’s...

For years, health authorities assured the public that mRNA COVID-19 vaccines were a temporary intervention — delivering a brief genetic message before harmlessly fading away. But a shocking new study published in Nature reveals a far darker reality: These shots don’t just deliver instructions — they reprogram the body to extend their lifespan, forcing cells to produce spike protein far longer than disclosed. The bombshell findings expose a hidden layer of genetic manipulation, raising urgent questions about long-term risks, informed consent, and the true cost of Big Pharma’s rushed “miracle” technology.

U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis excoriated Trump administration lawyers Friday in a remarkable status hearing centered on Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, the Salvadorian migrant and alleged MS-13 member who was deported from Maryland to El Salvador in March in what administration officials have acknowledged was an administrative error. The heated back-and-forth was full of eye-popping exchanges between the judge and the Justice Department, as she took umbrage with their attempts to invoke the state secrets privilege to shield details concerning Abrego Garcia from the court. "What world are we living in," Xinis asked in disbelief after more than two hours...

A federal appeals court has lifted a lower-court order that prevented the federal government from implementing President Donald Trump’s plan to end collective bargaining by workers at more than a dozen federal agencies. In a 2-1 ruling Friday, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals said U.S. District Court Judge Paul Friedman appeared to have erred last month when he froze Trump’s executive order on the subject. The appeals court’s majority said there was insufficient evidence that the National Treasury Employees Union faced “irreparable harm” that would justify the preliminary injunction, Friedman said in his ruling.

Canon XXIX. Christians must not judaize by resting on the Sabbath, but must work on that day, rather honouring the Lord’s Day; and, if they can, resting then as Christians. A federal appeals court on Friday lifted a block on an executive order from President Donald Trump that seeks to strip union rights from federal workers at dozens of agencies and offices. Trump in March issued an executive order that said that parts of the United States Code that protect federal workers’ rights to organize and collectively bargain would no longer apply to agencies including most or all of the Departments of Treasury, Defense, Veterans Affairs, State and Justice. The executive order covers about two-thirds of the federal workforce, according to the National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU), which filed a...
