Christians must not judaize by resting on the Sabbath, but must work on that day, rather honouring the Lord’s Day; and, if they can, resting then as Christians. But if any shall be found to be judaizers, let them be anathema from Christ.

But thus abstaining from work on Sunday they do not lay down as a necessity, but they add, “if they can.” For if through need or any other necessity any one worked on the Lord’s day this was not reckoned against him.

Bible prophecy is clear, the law of God is the end time issue as the world implodes and people, out of fear, seek God and the church. Not from love...but from desperation and fear. She will lead the world into perdition and as unprecendented global catastrophic events take place, a universal day of worship will be mandated. And after that, with continued unprecedented disasters, events, a day of rest will be outlawed. The precendent has already been set. The church council of Laodecia above.
She is very intolerant of the seventh day Sabbath for it exposes her.
Religious intolerance will be legislated. Church/State union. Mark 13:9. In one text, Jesus talks about church state union in the end days.
Mark 13:9 “But watch out for yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues. You will [a]be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them.
In Matthew 24, called the little apocalpyse by Bible scholars, he sees the Sabbath at the end of time and tell us to "pray our flight not be in winter nor on the Sabbath."
The Sabbath is still around at the end of time. The 10 commandments are even seen by John in his heavenly vision. Revelation 11:19......Amazing Prophecies!
Directly from the Catechism of the Catholic Church concerning making Sunday a legal required holy day:

Notice the term “the common good of all, “ in the Catechism.
The biggest red flag we have should be raised whenever we read that term, ESPECIALLY in the context of religious freedom and our God given right to worship who and when.
What is a church doing telling me that a holy day should be law for my good? For the common good?
When Christ was brought before the high priests, they were so threatened , so paranoid, the high priest, Caiphais said.....it is better one man should die than a whole nation perish.
That same argument will be used in the end against those who will not bend, will not budge and who ought obey God rather than man or a church. And we will be put to death .....while the masses are thinking they are doing God’s work.

But that was 1700 years ago. Just how long is the end time? As J Stuwart Russell wrote in 1880, the end time has turned out to be a longer period of time than the period it was supposed to be the end of.

Remember, to God, a day is as a thousand years. He has existed from eternity before and will exist for eternity forward.
But we do have prophecy and especially the time prophecies of the great AntiChrist. The 1260 year prophecy is key. For we read in scripture this time prophecy expressed in 3 different undeniable ways. 1260 days (day for year) 42 months, (that adds up to 1260 days, day for year) and finally times, time, and half a time in Daniel 7:25 revealing how long the religious Antichrist would rule.
A “time” is a year in prophecy. We have to study scripture and let the Bible interpret itself and it inpterprets all of the above. A “time” is a year, “times” is 2 years, “half a time” is half a year...and what do get.1260 days exactly. or in prophecy, 1260 days.
Jesus ministry lasted 3.5 literal years. 42 literal months, 1260 literal days. literal time, times and half a time.
But satan has a counterfeit for everything God has. A counterfeit gospel, a counterfeit priest, a counterfet Sabbath, a counterfeit Christ even when he appears as an Angel of light in the end.
So we know at the end of this 1260 years, this religious power suffers a deadly wound. And in 1798, the pope is taken captive by the French.....the French Revolution is in Bible prophecy. And the pope dies in exile. A fatal wound.
but bible says the wound is healed. Just as Jesus suffered a fatal wound at the end of his literal 1260 days. But his wound healed and he arose.
Bible prophecy says the counterfeit wound heals. And now look around....the world is marveling after her.
Just yesterday, she offered to broker peace between Russia and Ukraine. Leaders, celebrities, elites, Kings and President flock to her “city”......babylon is a “city”...to seek her and extend pay her homage.
Her wound has healed. Prophecy......we have prophecy. We are approaching the end of time. THe Judgement hour is at hand. John sees the Ten Commandments in his heavenly vision.....the LAW OF GOD which shows our guilt. We are all guilty of breaking every single commandment...me and you and all.
But those who are clothed in sackcloth and repent daily.....and from gratitude , faith leads to obedience...we have “pardon” written over our names.
In Daniel 2, we see a vision and a rock finally smashes this counterfeit religious power. This kingdom of IRON. That’s rome.....everyone knows it....and it’s Jesus the rock who will smash it......but no human can. And when he returns in power and glory and splendor, surrounded by Angels.....he smashes that fake Christian power that killed millions and will still be killing those who keep God’s day........Jesus will finally smash her to bits and all who have been deceived by her.

Israel was around at creation when God said he blessed and made holy the seventh day? That’s Jesus at creation making the seventh day holy the same Jesus who later said the Sabbath was made for MAN.

When God gives out a prophecy, he uses human language to convey information that people can understand and doesn’t play word games.
In Rev. 1:1 Jesus said “these things will happen shortly.”
There is not one example in all scripture where he describes distant events as “shortly.”

Agree. But what is God’s point? His point is he does things in his time, not ours. But he did give us prophecy and signs.
I don’t limit or confine God to our time, our science, our sphere. He operates in his own sphere. Keep in mind the disciples thought Christ was going to establish his kingdom right then. They put all their hopes in him.
Imagine who crushed they were to see him on cross! Crushed beyond belief. The one they put all their hopes in.......dead.
So he operates in his time and yes, a day is as thousand years, a billion years and more to him.
But even Peter said.....there would be mockers who in the end will say.....”where is this one you have been talking about?”
God tolerates us and I don’t exhaust God’s patience in mere years or even centuries or thousands of years. But he did give us signs and one of the biggest signs is a healed wound on the part of the greatest religious fraud to ever exist....in the context of deception. She looks so real to the world........and the world marvels after her.

The Bible says it was for mankind and not Israel alone. Does part of heaven worship one day and another group worship the next? Your reasoning makes no sense. Ten Commandments are for all of mankind because the define sin. They are the standard for which all will be held accountable. That includes you, who is running from God when you run from His Law.

It’s the Day Christ, the Passover Lamb, rested in the tomb, on the 15th Day.
It’s the Day (22nd Day) manna ceased falling after 6 days of it, 16th-21st days, in Exodus 16.
6 days between Christ’s rest in the tomb and the Sabbath in the wilderness, Exodus 16. Just one little month apart, yet the same pattern emerges.
We are Day 4 of those 6 work days Vespa..
2 more ‘manna from heaven’ days left in His work week..
Oddly, Judaism doesn’t follow Moses anymore.. And they sure as heck reject the Son, the Passover Lamb.

God telling Moses would die shortly is not a time prophecy. Revelation says there would be an end time people who “keep the commandments of God, Seventh day Sabbath included since John sees the very ten commandments in his heavenly vision..and this people would have the “spirit of prophecy” Revelation 19:10.
Revelation 12:17 says the Devil hates this commandment keeping people and of course the mammoth religious fraud, whom he works through...also hates the seventh day Sabbath.
So there is a people who in the end, uphold the “commandments of God” and are gifted with prophetic interpretion as we call it, eschatology. End time signs, prophecies, events.
And these are “time prophecies.” God is specific in Daniel and Revelation about not only when but who. Same in Revelation, when and who. And the when includes years. In fact, Daniel didn’t even understand the very prophecies he was given. An Angel had to appear to him....Gabriel, to interpret Daniel 8:14.
And even then he didn’t have a full understanding and God tells him to “seal up the vision for it concerns the times of the end.” This was in accordance with his Daniel 7:25 vision of “times, time, and half a time”......exactly 1260 years. A time is a year, times is 2 years. half a time half year....add them up....1260 days.
God telling Moses he would die shortly is a simple statement of fact by God. And by the way.....God took Moses to heaven. He didn’t allow Moses to see the earthly promised land.....but he did better. He raised him up....BODY and all and took him to the heavenly promised land.
How do we know this? because Jesus saw Moses literally, on the Mt Transfiguration with Elijah. And in Jude, we read there was some kind of dispute over the BODY of Moses. Again, after using the term Michael the Archangel, it goes on to say....”THE LORD REBUKE YOU.”
God doesnt have to debate anyone who he takes to heaven. I figure Satan was protesting God raising moses from the dead and taking him to heaven because there had been no atonement yet.
But God can write a check and cash it later. He didn’t bother to argue with Satan. He’s taking Moses because he knows there is an atonement coming.
Time prophecies are given to help prove we can trust the Bible. God telling Moses he would die “shortly” is not a time prophecy.
In fact the Bible ends with God himself declaring....”surely I come quickly”
Paul says blessed are those who love appearing.
God has an end time people, not a big class, a very small minority compared to the lost who hate God’s people and his law......because like Cain hated Abel, because of his own evil and because of Abel’s obedience.......he hated Abel
And this end time people keep the commandments of God not to get saved.....no merit in that. but as a loving response to his grace and goodness.
That is why David said.....I delight in thy law.and Paul said the law is holy just and good. When it gets in the heart......even the Sabbath day becomes the best day of the week. God intended it to be. A day off to devote totally to him! I’ll take it!
