Breaking- The Supreme Court ruled against the Trump administration, blocking them from deporting a group of Venezuelan illegal alien gang members in Texas under the 1798 Alien Enemies Act

The justices sent the case back to an appeals court to decide the underlying questions in the case, including whether the president's move is legal and if it is, how much notice the migrants targeted under the act should receive.

However, the decision is temporary and the underlying legal fight over the president’s invocation will continue in multiple federal courts across the country.

Two justices dissented - Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito

Deport them anyway. What’s Robert’s gonna do about it?

This is a good fight to have, politically. The country is 80/20 in favor of Trump’s policy, so have at it.

And this also proves once again that there only two law abiding conservatives on the USSC. When the media calls it a mostly conservative court then they are lying. We now have the most liberal court of all time.

So fly them all into LaGuardia. Bus them to the Federal Detention facility. Process them and release them onto the streets of Manhattan. I’ll make it a point to avoid going into tha city for a couple of months.

This is not an order legalizing these people. The point is to deny Trump these extraordinary powers. There are plenty of ways they can be deported. Trump’s people need to work at slashing away the impediments to their removal without talking about ending habeas corpus. Whatever has been added on since Operation Wetback needs to be rolled back, but not via wartime executive fiat.

That was my guess. Even Gorsuch is not that solid.

It didn’t rule against him. Sent it back to the appeals court.
