United States President Donald Trump has expressed his frustration with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin as he believes the latter is "slow-rolling comprehensive ceasefire talks," Fox News reported on Tuesday, citing sources. According to the sources, due to such behavior, the Trump administration is mulling "aggressive" sanctions enforcement that would affect Russia's "shadow fleet," among other things. The sources explained that the sanctions enforcement is currently "low," more specifically "level 3 out of 10." The sources went on to say that some 70% of Russia's illegal oil sales are done with the use of the "shadow fleet."

The United States is ready to go "all in" on sanctions against Russia, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent declared, signaling the administration's readiness to impose even harsher measures to pressure Moscow into peace negotiations. -snip- Bessent was critical of former US President Joe Biden's sanctions approach, describing them as "egregiously weak," particularly when it came to Russian energy. He argued that the weakness in these sanctions allowed Russia's military operations to continue, largely because of concerns about rising energy prices in the US. "A major factor that has enabled the Russian war machine's continued financing was the Biden administration's egregiously...

In recent years, the abortion industry has been pushing hard for women to receive the abortion pill regimen through the mail and undergo chemical abortions at home without medical supervision. Yet now, one Planned Parenthood affiliate is warning women that DIY chemical abortions may be dangerous… and it might just be for self-serving reasons. Earlier this month, a Pennsylvania teenager made national headlines when police investigated a chemical abortion. She had been turned away from local abortion facilities, presumably because she was too far along, and her mother ordered abortion pills online for her. The teenaged girl gave birth to...

Capitol Police arrested a staffer for Sen. Cory Booker who was carrying a gun Monday evening, hours after the New Jersey Democrat kicked off a marathon “filibuster” speech in the upper chamber. “Yesterday afternoon a Member of Congress led an IDed staff member around security screening at the Hart Senate Office Building. Later that evening, outside the Senate Galleries, the IDed staff member — who is a retired law enforcement officer — told our officers he was armed,” a rep for US Capitol Police said in a statement Tuesday. “The staff member, 59-year-old Kevin A. Batts of New Jersey, was...

Statistics recently released in the Netherlands show that euthanasia rates in the country were 10% higher in 2024 over the previous year, including a shocking 60% rise in deaths for psychiatric reasons. The regional euthanasia review committee (RTE) released the 2024 figures, which show that there were 9,958 euthanasia deaths in 2024, up from 9,068 in 2023. Of those people, 219 died for psychiatric reasons, up from 138 in 2023. It was this number — a 60% increase — that spurred the RTE to urge caution. “Are we still doing this right?” questioned Jeroen Recourt, RTE’s president. “I welcome social...

Right to Life UK) An unnamed man who was suffering from terminal cancer was left shaking and moaning after ingesting pills to end his life, leaving his daughter, who witnessed the scene, “shaking and crying”. Making plans to end his life in his home state of California after receiving a diagnosis of terminal cancer last summer, the man told his daughter, 24, he wanted to make use of the law and asked her to help him do so. Reluctant to see her daughter go through the process alone, the man’s ex-wife, ‘Elizabeth’, agreed to accompany her ex-husband. In California, the...

Senator Ed Markey (D-MA) said Tuesday on CNN’s “News Central” that President Donald Trump’s tariffs “could have catastrophic economic consequences for our country.” Co-host John Berman said, “Do you know what tariffs the president is going to announce tomorrow? And do you think the president knows what new tariffs he’s going to announce tomorrow?” Markey said, “I think the president is making it up as he’s going along. I don’t think he knows. But when he calls it ‘Liberation Day,’ it could be Obliteration Day if he doesn’t act in a way that invokes the law of unintended consequences. So,...

A New York official has enforced the state’s “shield law” to protect an abortionist who sent abortion pills to individuals in Texas and Louisiana, which resulted in complications for those women. Acting Ulster County Clerk Taylor Bruck said in a statement that he will not file a summary judgment against Dr. Margaret Carpenter, who is accused of sending abortion drugs to a woman in Texas. The judgment sought a civil penalty exceeding $100,000 due to Carpenter’s failure to appear in court on February 12 in response to Texas’ lawsuit alleging she prescribed mifepristone and misoprostol (the abortion pill regimen) to...

Tesla is officially in the Left’s crosshairs—and it’s going to get a lot uglier before it gets better. When progressive extremists find a cause to beat into the ground, they’re like a dog with a bone.At this point, left-wing radicals have moved beyond your basic, run-of-the-mill censorship and soft boycotts. They’re now openly organizing campaigns of harassment, intimidation, and economic sabotage—and they’re targeting you, the American consumer. Because if you dare to buy the wrong car, vote the wrong way, or support the wrong platform, you’re fair game. And they’ll come after you—tearing you apart, limb by limb.Case in point: the...

Commentator Brett Cooper was on the Shawn Ryan Show podcast last week, where she discussed finding out as a teen that her father had wanted her mother to abort Brett. “Your father wanted you aborted? Correct?” Ryan asked. “Yes,” Cooper admitted, explaining she was 16 when she found out. At the time, she was living and working in Los Angeles as a child actor and she didn’t understand the pro-abortion and pro-life position. Cooper asked her mother for clarity, saying that her mother never shied away from hard questions. As they talked about what it means to be pro-life, Cooper’s...

CV NEWS FEED // The Trump administration is withholding tens of millions of dollars from Planned Parenthood facilities, according to an exclusive breaking news article published by POLITICO on the evening of Monday, March 31. According to POLITICO, nine Planned Parenthood state affiliates that receive federal money from the 55-year-old Title X family planning program received a letter on Monday announcing that their funding is being “temporarily withheld” for “possible violations” of federal civil rights law and President Donald Trump’s executive orders — including prohibitions on the promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Funding is also being withheld, according...

You have to put it altogether to appreciate why the pro-abortion website rewire news group would run a story under the stern headline “Anti-Abortion Advocacy Is Rising on College Campuses.” We already know that as a generalization, Gen Z—18 to 29— is the most conservative age group in decades. We also know that pro-abortion Vice President Kamala Harris barely beat President Trump, 52% to 46% among Gen Z voters but that 57% of men under 30 voted for Mr. Trump. Newsweek’s Adeola Adeosun reported Recent AtlasIntel polling shows President Trump’s approval rating among 18–29-year-olds has climbed to 52.7 percent in...

Planned Parenthood supporters used to justify abortion as a private matter that women choose only after thoughtful deliberation. Those days are long gone. Abortion activists now openly celebrate abortion by embracing the vulgar, the grotesque, and even the satanic. Case in point: 40 Days for Life participants on the East Coast observed an abortion worker’s vehicle bearing a bumper sticker that reads, “Murder is my hobby.” Another macabre sticker on the vehicle depicts a bleeding heart with the word “dead” emblazoned over it. These stickers are outrageous–but they’re also highly likely to backfire. Women aren’t getting abortions as their “hobby.”...

Neela Rajendra said that 'extreme deadlines' hinder 'inclusion' because some people can’t keep up ... Over the course of 2024, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory laid off nearly 900 workers due to budget cuts at the agency. The cuts, which came amid delays on the Mars Sample Return program, a mission to collect dust and rocks from the red planet, reduced the lab’s headcount by 13 percent and impacted both technical and support staff. But the jet propulsion laboratory’s chief inclusion officer, Neela Rajendra, survived the cuts. Rajendra, who helped organize a project to recruit women and minorities to the space...

Former Clinton pollster Mark Penn went on Fox News to report that "I've never seen anything like this in over 40 years of polling. Those voters who have a favorable opinion of the Democratic Party have plunged to only 29%. That's an incredible loss of moderate, working-class voters. They need those voters to win elections. And having extreme leftists like AOC and Bernie Sanders carrying the Democrat banner is not helping." Minority Leader of the Senate Chuck Schumer pointed out that "these poll figures came before the launch of our new campaign to shout down Republican politicians at their home...
