NATIONAL CHOCOLATE COVERED RAISIN DAY When it comes to a National Day, a chocolate-covered raisin or a box of them is worth celebrating. On March 24th, National Chocolate Covered Raisin Day celebrates raisins coated in a shell of either milk chocolate or dark chocolate. #ChocolateCoveredRaisinDay Moviegoers have been snacking on chocolate-covered raisins for many, many years. Somehow, popcorn, a box of chocolate-covered raisins go together perfectly. It doesn't matter the kind of movie either. Chocolate-covered raisins are also a conventional bulk vending item across the country. More than 1 million Raisinets are produced per hour. In some countries, chocolate-covered raisins...

The crisis facing the Walt Disney Company over its controversial Snow White reboot deepened today amid pictures of empty cinemas and screens with no bookings in primetime slots following a poor opening weekend. Studio bosses had hoped that the reboot of the 1937 original, which had a budget of more than $270million (£210million), would launch with at least £79million ($100million) in ticket sales. But the movie starring Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot took just $87.3million (£67.4million) globally including $43million (£33million) in the US after a slow start followed a slew of negative reviews. Meanwhile, in mainland China, Snow White ranked...

Imagine for a second that an organization existed that carefully and deliberately planned and executed the firebombing and destruction of a certain brand of automobiles and its dealerships, and the support infrastructure for that brand, with the purpose of such attacks being to extort others into silence and submission. Back in the day we would have considered that a criminal conspiracy (in all likelihood under RICO laws), and we would have arrested and prosecuted the leaders of that rogue, terrorist organization. Guess what? You don't have to imagine. That organization exists today and it's called the "Democrat Party."

For the first time we see one Canadian reject the request for turning down music when public prayers are occurring.

U.S. District Judge James Boasberg is at it again. In a mind-boggling 37-page decision, he has blocked the Trump administration from swiftly deporting members of the notorious Tren de Aragua gang. ... The judge's ruling reads like a progressive wish list, demanding "individualized hearings" before any deportations can proceed. Because apparently, we need to roll out the red carpet and due process for criminal aliens who shouldn't be here in the first place. Even more outrageous, the government must now prove these individuals are actually gang members — as if their presence alone isn't a violation enough of our immigration...

Donald Trump made a disturbing slip up during Monday's cabinet meeting, where he confessed he was "activated last week". Trump was humiliated by Putin after being kept waiting ahead of their phone call, but he has continued to attack Ukraine and firmly take Russia's side in the war. A former Soviet intelligence officer claimed Trump was recruited by the KGB in 1987 and given the codename 'Krasnov' - and his unusual choice of the word 'activation' has led to fears there may be some substance there. Trump, who has a unique bond with Vladimir Putin, was giving a sickly testimonial...

A Swedish study found that workplace coffee machines often leave in high levels of cholesterol-raising compounds, unlike drip-filter machines which remove most of them. ==================================================================================== Coffee from workplace machines might be raising your cholesterol more than you think. A new Swedish study reveals that many common office coffee machines fail to filter out cholesterol-elevating compounds found in coffee, sometimes leaving behind even more than espresso or French press. Depending on the machine and brewing method, the amount of harmful diterpenes like cafestol and kahweol can vary widely, and frequent coffee drinkers may be unknowingly boosting their LDL cholesterol levels. Cholesterol-Raising...

Everyone is talking about Republicans’ proposed Medicaid cuts, but hardly anyone is calling this what it really is: the strategy by Elon Musk, President Trump, and the Republican Party to dismantle the Affordable Care Act, one piece at a time. The ACA, a historic piece of legislation that extended health coverage to millions of Americans, celebrated its 15th anniversary on March 23. Signed by President Barack Obama in 2010, the ACA expanded Medicaid and provided subsidies so that more working and middle-class Americans could have access to our expensive and complicated health care system. The law also made it illegal...

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Proponents of eliminating the federal income tax rejoiced today as Elon Musk cleverly disguised the Internal Revenue Service headquarters as a Tesla dealership so Democrats would burn it down. The billionaire inventor and entrepreneur hatched the genius plan to cover the main IRS building with Tesla emblems and signage, which goaded angry Democrats to launch a large-scale firebomb attack against the building. "This'll show Musk who's boss! Burn it to the ground!" one enraged leftist reportedly shouted before throwing a Molotov cocktail through a window of the IRS building. "This looks different from any other Tesla dealership...

On February 14, the Department of Education officially notified educational institutions receiving federal funding that they must cease race-based practices—including admissions, hiring, promotion, scholarships, administrative support, discipline, and sanctions. The potential loss of federal funding is offered as a consequence for noncompliance. This directive comes on the heels of President Donald Trump’s January 21 executive order aimed at “ending illegal discrimination and restoring merit-based opportunity.” In recent years, many universities had ramped up DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) programs on campus—some admittedly as a response to the death of George Floyd and the resulting racial climate. Initiatives have run the...

President Volodymyr Zelensky once again invited U.S. Vice President JD Vance to visit Ukraine during a recent phone call, Zelensky said in an interview with Time magazine published on March 24. During a heated argument in the Oval Office on Feb. 28, Zelensky invited Vance to come to Ukraine to see the consequences of the Russian war with his own eyes. Vance responded by saying that he "had seen the stories," so he was aware of the situation on the ground. The U.S. vice president added that he refused to visit Ukraine because the Ukrainian government allegedly organizes "propaganda tours"...

Vice President JD Vance criticized the judgment of his boss, President Donald Trump, in a leaked group chat in which Vance and several other senior Trump administration officials discussed the possibility of American military strikes against Houthi rebel targets in Yemen. On Monday, The Atlantic‘s Jeffrey Goldberg revealed that he had accidentally been added to a Signal group chat in which the Principals Committee – the heads of the top American national security agencies — debated how and whether to strike the Houthis earlier this month. At one point, after National Security Advisor Mike Waltz informed the group that they...

Senate Republicans may not be able to pass President Donald Trump’s border security, energy, and tax agenda until July at the earliest due to internal differences, Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) reportedly warned. Thune has told fellow Republicans in the Senate that he wants a budget resolution moved forward in the “next work period” before the April recess, but added that the “finished product” is still months out from completion, a source told the Hill. “Thune and others have said they don’t think it’s realistic we’ll move the finished product until the end of July,” another Republican senator said...

Shocking footage shows the moment panicked schoolchildren fled for their lives after a gang of youths crashed a school birthday party and launched a horrifying knife attack. Dozens of police officers swooped on Elm Park Primary School's hall, in Havering, Essex, at around 9pm on Saturday when a group of more than 50 youths armed with knives and machetes reportedly gatecrashed the 16th birthday celebration. The fighting, which police say involved a 'number of teenagers', allegedly lasted until 11pm, with two victims, aged 16 and 19, taken to hospital with non-life threatening knife injuries. Police said three teenagers were arrested...
