Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has stated it has no new response to U.S. President Donald Trump's recent remarks on the peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian crisis. "We don't have anything new to add to what we have already said on this issue," the spokesman said on Tuesday, News.Az reports, citing TASS.

Elon Musk worked at breakneck speed over the weekend to wipe out the U.S. Agency for International Development. His allies got access to the Treasury’s payments system. His aides reportedly locked out government employees from their computer systems that hold sensitive data. And President Donald Trump is OK with it — for now. Musk’s dizzying takeover of Washington, which has frightened Democrats and some Republicans, has renewed speculation within GOP circles about whether the mutually beneficial relationship between the world’s richest man and the president will eventually implode. Musk’s recent moves also underscore how serious he is about executing his...

The president of El Salvador on Monday offered to house convicted US citizens in his country’s “mega-prison” and take in deported criminal illegal migrants of any nationality after a meeting with Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Rubio, 53, said the deal struck with Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele represents “the most unprecedented, extraordinary, extraordinary migratory agreement anywhere in the world,” in remarks from the capital city of San Salvador. “We can send them and he will put them in his jails,” the secretary of state said of migrants set to be deported from the US. “And, he’s also offered to do...

OKLAHOMA CITY — In his annual State of the State address, Governor Kevin Stitt announced the creation of the Division of Government Efficiency (DOGE-OK). The new division follows President Donald Trump's move to create a federal Department of Government Efficiency and was created by Stitt's Executive Order. The division's goal is to eliminate wasteful government spending, improve efficiency and ensure taxpayer dollars are being used effectively, Stitt said. The division will be within the Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES). “Today, I’m launching DOGE-OK to keep the focus on flat budgets and limiting government,” Governor Stitt said. “Our top...

FBI agents who are part of a secretive group investigating the surge of “unidentified anomalous phenomena” […] are worried that they could lose their jobs in a possible FBI purge targeting officials who worked on Jan. 6 cases… ... “I have spoken to several agents from the UAP Working Group who are afraid of losing their role and the investigation getting unintentionally compromised,” said Ryan Graves, executive director of Americans for Safe Aerospace and a former Navy pilot. ... Since the revelations that the military was compiling mysterious incidents of UAPs, there has been a bipartisan push in Congress to...

Excluding Ukraine from U.S.-led talks involving the withdrawal of Russian troops from Kyiv's eastern front would set a "dangerous" precedent to dictators across the globe, warned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. "If there will be direct talks between America and Russia without Ukraine, it is very dangerous, I think," Zelenskyy said in a Saturday interview with the Associated Press. "They may have their own relations, but talking about Ukraine without us – it is dangerous for everyone." Zelenskyy argued that doing so would validate Russian President Vladimir Putin’s brutal invasion and "show that he was right" because he received "impunity" and...

Forget about Disney princesses. Mickey Mouse might have just proved who’s the real king of Florida. The Walt Disney Co. used a legal clause that name checks King Charles III to apparently thwart Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ attempt to strip the company of its self-governance power in the state. For nearly a year, state legislators, encouraged by DeSantis, have sought to exert more control over the company’s Florida-based theme parks by passing a bill that would dissolve Disney’s special tax district. DeSantis also wanted to rename the area the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District and plant a new board of...

Every year, tens of billions of our tax dollars have been used by USAID to exert “soft power” and cause chaos all over the globe. Most Americans that have heard of it think that USAID’s primary purpose is to deliver humanitarian assistance to nations that desperately need it. But the truth is that only a very small fraction of USAID’s budget goes to help the poor, and even when that is the case there are usually very alarming strings attached. Ultimately, any humanitarian assistance provided by USAID is simply a cover story for the real purpose of the organization. It...

-snip- Serhiy Dubovik, deputy head of Ukraine's Central Election Commission, said it would take at least four to six months to prepare so that campaigning could start ahead of an election, given the displacement of voters and widespread destruction. Millions of Ukrainians still live abroad, millions more are internally displaced by the war, a fifth of Ukraine is occupied and front-line areas have been devastated. -snip- Zelenskyy's public trust rating is above 50%, according to opinion polls, although it has dropped since Russia's Feb. 24, 2022 invasion, when it rose to over 90% as Ukrainians rallied around the flag. A 10-year-old “superhero” protected his little sister during last week’s plane crash in Philadelphia — and now he’s recovering from being impaled in the head by a piece of metal from the jet, his family said. Andre Howard was in the car getting doughnuts with his father and two siblings when the Mexico-bound air ambulance crashed near Roosevelt Boulevard and Cottman Avenue just after 6 p.m. Friday, killing seven and wounding many others. “Heard what we thought was a car crash, but then you see a fury of fire in the air, then a bunch of debris shooting everywhere,” his...

These included sites linked to the departments of defense, commerce, energy, transportation, labor as well the Central Intelligence Agency and the Supreme Court, the review showed. The exact time when the sites became unavailable was not clear. Nor was it known whether the sites were temporarily offline or taken down at the instruction of Trump's administration. But the development comes amid the administration's controversial drive to radically shrink the US government. On Monday, Musk said USAID will be shuttered, calling the agency which runs relief programs in about 120 countries a "criminal organization." USAID's website was offline as employees were...

The US Department of Education is launching an investigation into five colleges, including Columbia University, over alleged “widespread” anti-semitic harassment following the tumultuous spring term where anti-Israel protests escalated on campuses countrywide. Under President Trump’s direction, the DOE will be probing Northwestern University, Portland State University, the University of California, Berkley and the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities alongside Columbia — where the student encampment protests first sparked over Israel’s retaliatory strikes on Gaza after Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack. The anti-Israel demonstrations stretched from colleges in Maine all the way to Alaska and sometimes turned into violent clashes with pro-Israel...

New York Attorney General Letitia James warned local hospitals Monday that they will be in violation of state discrimination laws if they comply with President Trump’s executive order aimed at outlawing sex-change procedures for minors. “Regardless of the availability of federal funding, we write to further remind you of your obligations to comply with New York State laws, including those that prohibit discrimination against individuals based on their membership in a protected class, such as sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, race, creed, color, national origin, citizenship or immigration status, military status, disability, or marital status,” James wrote in...

Recognizing that free advice is worth exactly what you pay for it, allow me to offer Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent some insight on his new gig as acting director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The bureau, originally the brainchild of Sen. Elizabeth Warren, was built on the misguided principle that protecting consumers in the financial services arena should be “above politics.” In Washington-speak, that means an entity that’s not accountable to elected politicians — or, by extension, to the people who elected them. That was bad enough. But under the leadership of Barack Obama appointee Richard Cordray, the bureau...

China’s state-run Global Times on Sunday rounded up ministers and business leaders to condemn President Donald Trump’s ten percent tariff on imports from China, which were scheduled to take effect on Tuesday. “China’s position is firm and consistent. Trade and tariff wars have no winners. The U.S.’ unilateral tariff hikes severely violate WTO rules. This move cannot solve the US’ problems at home and more importantly, does not benefit either side, still less the world,” the Chinese Foreign Ministry said. The Foreign Ministry insisted China has “one of the strictest and most thorough drug control policies in the world,” so...

CBS says it will turn over an unedited transcript of its October interview with Kamala Harris to the Federal Communications Commission, part of President Donald Trump’s ongoing fight with the network over how it handled a story about his opponent. Trump sued CBS for $10 billion over the “60 Minutes” interview, claiming it was deceptively edited to make Harris look good. Published reports said CBS’ parent company, Paramount, has been talking to Trump’s lawyers about a settlement. The network said Friday that it was compelled by Brendan Carr, Trump’s appointee as FCC chairman, to turn over the transcripts and camera...
